NC - Shaniya Davis, 5, Fayetteville, 10 Nov 2009 - Allegedly sold by mother #19

I just read an article where CL (BL's daughter) stated that BL didn't raise Shaniya, didn't provide for her and wasn't in her life. That his girlfriends and "others" raised her.

I saw on NG that the funeral for Shaniya is going to be on Sunday... between the obvious tension within the Dad's side of the family (extended family...ex-in-laws) and the obvious tension towards AD's family and friends...this funeral is going to be a mess.

I pray that EVERYONE will put whatever feelings they have to the side and be able to honor and remember beautiful Shaniya.

My husband used to have a lot of shady people in his life and it drove me crazy. He always said that he was just trying to help them. But it took me a while to realize that these were the type of people he could CONTROL. We did separate for a while.

I'll be very interested in the obit to learn more about Antoniette's side of the family. When I research her younger sister (T), I can only find one of the aunts connected to both. Everyone else has different names. Antoniette and T must be half sisters sharing the same father.

I would have left the mom out...she doesn't deserve that title.
