IMO, he was distancing himself from her. That is why he called it a one night stand, it was most likely more then that. But WHAT.?..That affiliation/association has more secrets then we know.....
He's fine with leaving his baby girl over there, though...............

I wanted to bump this because it is right on the money.

The "Rumor" that Ty is posting at IS, and her words being taken as fact will get us in heaps of trouble and possibly lose us our chance at getting a subforum...

We really need to watch the lines between rumor and fact, or stipulate that these are considered rumors. That "we" includes me, I have been guilty of blurring the lines between fact and rumor, but now the warnings are in print.

My opinion: Brad made that comment to DISTANCE himself from AD.

The ENTIRE world was looking at the woman accused and charged and arrested for selling their precious daughter into prostitution.

BRAD------> Excused his involvement with someone capable of such a horrific crime by claimimg *just a one night stand.*

If it is not true, I expect her family to eventually come out with something in regards to that statement.

When someone wants to tell you it was only a one night stand like BL has said. He is embraced about her, (maybe she is a real low life) and he wants to make it sound like IT WAS NO FRIENDSHIP it was only a one night er. Other wise he would not be saying it that way.

One would NOT humiliate a friend and call them a one night stand. NOP....

IMO - Why would a supposed decent man get on national television and call the mother of his child a one-night-stand? Remember, this was before anyone knew what was going on. He had just spoken with AD - interesting tidbit from yesterday's interview - he got weird look in his eyes when he said it. They know each other much more than he's letting on. IMO

I'm also curious as to why he's having unprotected sex. It just is odd to be entering middle-age and continue such irresponsibility. Does he want women to become pregnant? Odd...that he shows similar behavior as the world AD lives in - all these children, no father declared, receiving public assistance. Don't get me started as to why these women are doing the same. I think a lot of BL's more notable behaviors may be based on basic immaturity.
Not that that absolves him of any potential responsibility. Most people realize they are being immature and take steps to correct it. It's no excuse, but it seems to me to be the explanation.

Carey Lockhart-Davis has spoken with the media and stated that she did not feel comfortable with Shaniya moving in with her mother. Bradley Lockhart said that Carey had not shared those concerns with him.

And once again, we have someone going under the bus, and no real indication who to believe. (Although I do find it hard to believe that Carey wouldn't have said something at some point.)

Facts, please, LE and Mr/Mrs Prosecutor, may we please have some facts? Any old little verified facts.

Carey doesn't strike me as an aunt who wouldn't say something to the father about Shaniya's welfare if something was making her really uncomfortable. I think the father is denying a lot of things so that he doesn't look so bad in the eyes of the media and other people. How would it look if he admitted he was aware but chose to ignore...which is probably the truth.

My take on this guy is that he is not hugely involved in the lives of his children and that other women in his life pick up his slack....which does not mean he did not love his children and that he is not a victim here, but perhaps I am missing a critical piece of media that is out there....

for some strange reason bl doesnt want anything about the custody arrangement or lack of one to come out because it would paint him as the uninvolved parent that he was. i didnt see one recent picture of him and shaniya. he seems like a user. used the aunt whern he went out of town then was using girlfriend and as last result when no one left call ad. in my opinion careys animosity towards her brother has been evident and maybe they had a falling out about shaniyas care and that is how she came to be with ad, kind of like ,you are not her mother, she has one, and im taking her there so as to limit the aunts involvement. this is all mo

Actually, I know someone who was ordered to get snipped. It's on appeal now.
9 kids, all of their mothers on public assistance, no child support from him, and none of them live with him.
The state got fed up supporting his kids.

Doing that also makes a person feel so good..even if you never meet the family or person that you are buying for. It's also a wonderful thing to teach your children...the giving spirit of Christmas. I love it.

i believe he chose to leave shaniya with these particualar people because,possibly, they were the ones that offered the least resistance and required his involvement less. but, eventually every one gets tired of being taken advantage of, hence all the women in and out of his life. and this is why i believe shaniya ended up with ad. the path of least resistance. all ad probably required was money from him and not much at that. but the other women probably required that at some point he step up and be a real father. again all mo
