Saw on another site that a poster was questioning a possible link between this child missing, and the possible septic problem. Poster said there was a case where a missing little boy was found in the septic system.
Anyone know that case or the little boy's name?

Kellync,

What does BBM mean? I usually can figure these out, but I have been trying to figure this one out for weeks. The best I could come up with is BlackBerry Message or Messaging???

Thanks.

And just to add to what you said above. I think that is part of the reason MS, FB and Twitter links are not allowed to be posted. It happens all the time when people get excited that they might have found some info. Most of us try to catch the mistakes before someone gets T/O'd or banned.

You're right! It can get you in trouble. I didnt find out the mothers name and I didnt see it posted anywhere until I posted it from a news article at 3 a.m. We were relying on google to dig her up, and made a terrible mistake.
There are a ton of abbreviations that took me a while to figure out also!
Try this thread, helped me tons!

I'm not kelly but BBM is bolded by me.
Thanks so much, it was driving me crazy that I couldn't figure it out.

Not much at Topix yet. Only a few comments on 2 different threads.
There is a thread where someone posted about WTH is going on in Fayetteville. Said lots of helicopters and heard a couple blasts. I was thinking it was the search for Shaniya with the helicopters. But the blasts don't make sense. Anyone local or good with maps. Is Shaniya's home anywhere near the Wendy's on Raeford Rd near Skibo? Probably not related but it peaked my curiosity.

"Police served a warrant at the residence and searched the house for clues as well, Chance said."

"Shaniya's mother and the 7-year-old boy spent most of Tuesday at the police station being interviewed by investigators."

Wow, so Wyatt Smitsky was found in the septic tank and the cover was placed back on??? Hmmm.
I'm not getting a feeling that this is similar to what happened to Shaniya, but I sure hope they look into it to rule it out. I think we've all seen how often people copycat stories they see in the news.

Where in heaven's name did they put this poor baby... I know there are certainly innocent explanations for putting a child on the couch at that early hour. However my first thoughts were did she wet the bed she was in... or was this how parent explains child being "taken" out from under their noses when she'd otherwise have been sharing a bedroom eg. Shaniya what a little angel you are. :prayer:

OT but regarding posting links to myspace and facebook - I have done that and I was not told you couldn't post them. I also read through TOS and couldn't find it. Not saying it isn't there - just curious where it states that. :)

Jamie and Suzy,

I wish I could have checked that link before you both had to edit. I can't access FB from work. Good find though.
I think you guys can post initials from the people connected to that link, and tidbits of information, but you can't link directly. Mods correct me if that is wrong, please.

Just out of curiousity, what case brought you to WS (both of you)?
It's weird how one case can open you up to all of this. You'll never be the same again.

I have been lurking here since that case with the little girls from OK. Lately it was the Robert Harrod/CA case...it all just makes me sick what is happening in this world.

Sorry, you just had a low number of posts, I assumed you came in the last month or two. Yeah, that little angel brought a lot of people to WS. Bless her soul.

Let's hope Shaniya doesn't share her fate.

Yeah I don't get a chance to be on here much work full time but really enjoy it when I can get on. I hope Shaniya is found safe and sound she is such a beautiful girl.

Just caught up on this thread. I have that same old sick feeling in the pit of my stomach right now. So angry, so sad.

It normally is found on the first page when a new "thread" is started by a Moderator. In other words, when we get to 45 or so pages here, a Moderator will come on and say "continue here" with a link to click on to go to the next thread. Sometimes they get too long. Trust me, it is here, though.

The link only showed the location for Shaniya's home. But thanks for the info.
7.2 miles away is pretty close. Still not sure that the blasts would have anything to do with this case, but the helicopters might still have been related. No info out there on the blasts that I can find.
When you go to the link, click on "directions" and type in the name of the road you are looking for and it will pull up a map showing the distance.

kellync,

are you far from where little Shaniya disappeared? it's even creepier when these things happen in one's backyard, so to speak...

bless her heart and may she be found soon.
