Theory... the little one messed herself and her blanket. If the blanket wasn't anything special, I might just throw it in the trash too. That's at 3:00 am.

What happened to her after 3:00 am? What time did he leave with her?

It's been reported to be her favorite blanket.

Mobile home parks do not attract people of any specific area of finances, education, social status or any other type of status any differently then areas that have "stick-built" homes.

I wonder why her info is contradictory to the police evidence, especially with regard to information that should be relatively easy to verify. If Davenport is right, what is the reason for the initial misreporting of said easily verifiable info in the media?

I believe so. I think I have read in former cases that once a person dies the body's starts to break down, therefore releasing chemicals only found in a deceased person. So I think with the bowels releasing themselves would have chemical release in them. JMO though not absolutely for sure on that.

Don't know who the Ramseys are, but as far as I know-No one in either of the cases you mentioned had extensive criminal histories, more specifically abuse on women/children, and none of them lived in trailer parks surrounded by sex offenders... Just wanted to try and answer your question. I live in Jacksonville, NC, home to Marines. And there are alot of MHP here. I think that is just a very affordable option instead of apartments. I also think it may be a bit of a "country" thing. Meaning that there is alot of land to be bought and a lot of modular homes to be put on them.

I agree. Mark Lunsford has a great Social Status that came not from where he lived, or how he lived, but the work he does in society.
I have myself lived in a trailer park before and so did the pediatrician that now sees my children..

I'm curious....if a "witness" saw him drive away with a child in the car, why would he put the blanket in the neighbor's garbage? I mean, why not just throw it away somewhere less likely to be found? Sure, it had feces on it (ie, the smell factor), but chances are that there were feces other places as well (on Shaniya perhaps). Why take the chance of making that extra stop and possibly being caught by someone? Seems like he could have just chucked it out the window at some point.

Also, is the neighbor's house along the path that he would take as he was driving out of the trailer park? And, where was Shaniya when he stopped to throw the blanket away? She had to have already been incapacitated in some way so that she couldn't scream or run away.

Unless...he drove away with Shaniya while someone else (mom?) took care of throwing the blanket away.

being on this website the last year I have realized media will run with something before they check out the information. All they want it to be the first to report it. NG is really bad about it.

Alternate theory.
The feces wasn't hers. It has been stated that with sewage issues, it can back up into the bathtub, while we don't know that this happened in this case, it might be backed up feces, not Shaniyas. He could have laid her in the bathtub while he disposed of the blanket...if there was other biological material on it.
If there was feces backed up in the bathtub or an unflushed toilet, I find it hard to believe that anyone in the trailer regularly went in there. It would have been a feasible, panicky, hiding place.
It would make him the only one that knew what was going on.

Which would work, if mothers timeline wasn't full of holes.

I heard this as well. The sister Brenda Davis moved in on 8/5/09, Coe got out of jail on 8/15/09 the raid happened 7/09. The reporter ( I can't think of her name) said she was going to look into this thinking that maybe LE said they raided "these people" but maybe at a different location. As for the location of the videos, I heard (HLN again) that there are 4 cameras, 1 of which is right across the street from the Davis trailer, one aimed over the trailer park and I can't remember where they said the other 2 camera's are at.

Heres my question, Barbara Davenport ( the landlord) said that the video showed people outside and what looked like they were looking for a child. Was Coe there at that time? Did he leave and not come back or was he there? I'm asking because I could have missed this. Thanks

Does anyone know if the information about the feces stained blanket and porch has actually been verified? As I understand it, the info came from the neighbor who owns the trashcan in which the blanket was purportedly found. It's very unlikely that LE would have revealed that information to her in passing, i.e. "by the way, we're taking your trashcan because the child's blanket was found in it covered with feces. Oh...and there are feces on the porch railing, too!" Very, very doubtful.

If someone has an official source for this info, could you please post it? Thanks!

You are probably right, and them being affordable is a good point. I live next door to a lady whose ex-husband is a high school principal and he lives in a trailer. She hated trailer living, but he loves it, and plus he has like 10 acres of land. I thought he was an isolated case of a person who could afford to live in a house choosing instead a trailer! (I can admit ignorance to subjects such as those!)

Thanks for answering. My sister used to be stationed in Camp Lejeune, so I have definitely seen J-ville and all the trailers. It was just a thought I had, and I appreciate your feedback.

She also said that these 2 RSO's are up to date on their paperwork, keep to themselves and are 1st offenders. Not that that matters, just adding on.

I don't post much, but I have to respond to this. All kinds of people live in all kinds of housing, drive all kinds of cars, eat all kinds of food, wear all kinds of clothes, and have all kinds of opinions. Charla, you are stereotyping here. The worst sexual abuse case I ever had was an "old money" family living in a fine plantation house...a bank president and his two little girls. So...........
