Could it have been McNeil in Coes car? I really do think that the initial reports were that she was seen in his car, then morphed into the later reports that she was with Coe? It may have just been his car...or he may have taken her and McNeil and dropped them off.

Because, I THINK he was spotted removing her from the mobile home. So technically he did kidnap her ...Now as far as Im concerned this poor baby has been kidnapped by 2 people

Yes I just mean the extent of their respective roles isn't yet clear to me... maybe it is to LE and to others tho. All I know is that father's voice and heart in his throat spoke volumes to me...

The footage from the hotel was shown to the camera at the end of the presser and should be on video.

From the looks of things, it seems like LE thinks she's involved somehow. Otherwise, why remove the other child?


The question still looms: the blanket with feces.

And I still think Coe may be involved - he could have taken her to this man. I haven't viewed the tapes yet, though, but a seasoned criminal knows how to look/act completely innocent in court.

But LE's had the reports and video tape for all this time and meanwhile arrested Coe--and even now doesn't indicate he'll be released.

And very unlikely they could check into the motel even if they abducted her exactly at 5:30am. That isn't a freeway between the two cities. And that still wouldn't explain why the blanket was tossed in the neighbor's trash around 3:00am. MOO

It was dark outside, so the "witness" most likely was the camera..It had to have been Coe's car, right? My head is spinning!!

~Le sorry for short time notification of presser. thanks media for tips that the coverage has yeiled them. says info they received this early evening was a break in the case.. it was due to a tip that was received from media coverage

~this afternoon LATE, achild matcing the descripiton of Sheniya was found on a Sanford, NC video tape in a hotel. Le says the child IS SHENIYA. reiterates this.. and identifies the man with her as Mario Andretti Mcneil.

~bring her safely anywere to a medical facility, LE, etc

~Mister Lockhardt (sp) possible first name (Bradly) speaks and pleas to media. He is visibly upset.

~`they checked into the sanford hotel at 0611 am on the day she was reported missing and have since checked out. photos from the hotel camera were passed out of him carrying the child.

~McNeil has crime history but nothing with children.. they think she is safe. they say his mug shot is the same as what they saw on the video, ie, no change in appearance.

~mother had a warrant served on her before but not at that trailer address.

ETA: Le said in the presser in response to a reporter's quesiton that they did check out of the hotel... but didn't give time or day... etc

Several counts of inflicting serious bodily injury, a handful of drug charges, fleeing the police, threats against the government...

That last one indicates to me that she may have been about to be taken by DSS, so mother shipped her off and concocted the story. Hopefully, this man is attached to her.

I am thinking Shaniya's was removed from the house around 3:00 AM and perhaps the blanket was tossed in the neighbor's trash can to lead the police in another direction. This looks like a planned out "abduction". Just not sure how much Coe was involved yet!

so... she actually had to have been taken by the time that mom states she placed her on that couch at 0530. I knew that fact would come back to haunt!!!

so what happened that night before 0300 am when someone was seen near the trash can and banging was heard...

In that video I saw on the presser Mcneil was carrying her and I don't believe with all certainty that she is healthy and okay... I am very worried for her safety!
