He got a speeding ticket in Fayetteville recently. Have they said where he is from?

I need to chew on this info. I'm going to go clean my house and think.
Back in a little while. I think I need someone more familiar with the lifestyle, so I'm going to make some phone calls, too. See if someone can make this make sense to me.

(bbm) OT you could get a lot of "thinking" done in my house right now... ;) :blushing:

Yep, if they would have an overnight bag packed it would have blown the whole stranger abduction plot.
ITA

This was planned out to keep Shaniya from her dad IMO

Thanks, I could not remember if it was purple or blue.
Was gonna go back and look but I knew as fast as it is moving in here, I would be 234,893 pages by the time I got back.

In addition to purple top does it look like she is also wearing pink (long) pants in the footage from presser?

I think that's just her legs. I don't see any pants. But I could be wrong.

Yeah Kelly they mentioned custody being a big issue when news first broke of the kidnapping. So, I'm thinking that is what it had to do with.
I'm thinking Mom got her "friends" to do this to keep her away from her dad out of spite.

But then what would the "terrorizing" charge be for on Coe

Wow, this is great! She's alive! I was almost positive we weren't going to get news like this. I'm leaning toward she is ok and she will be found safe and healthy or this McNeill will turn her in or drop her off somewhere. He does have a long rap sheet, but from his mug shot he doesn't have those "murderer/predator" eyes. I don't think he'll harm this baby girl.

If the mom did set this up, then why was she the one to report Shaniya missing? And so soon? To make it look like a staged abduction? It seems unlikely she'd want to keep Shaniya away from the father - the father had to fly in, so he must live far away and not be a threat in that manner anyway. Unless he was fighting for custody or she thought he was going to? (Not that I blame him!) What I want to know is why in the world Coe and especially McNeill would agree to do this for the mother, if it was a staged abduction. They are both familiar with the system. They must have known the charges that could come about, including kidnapping. This would be a pretty big "favor" to the mother, if you ask me.

Then again, if this was a staged abduction by the mother to keep Shaniya away from her father, that could be why Coe looked so shocked at the kidnapping charges being read to him. If the mother, who has custody, TOLD Coe to give Shaniya to McNeill, would that still mean kidnapping charges? Not if the custodial parent ok'd Shaniya being with him or McNeill.

This certainly is a mystery. I'm just so glad this beautiful little girl is alive!!!

Let's not forget the statement that mom's story has changed since the beginning. I think mom is in CYA mode right now and will say anything to shift blame.
IMO she is in on it - I think she planned the whole thing.

Well, I still think Coe took her out of the trailer park so he did "kidnap" her right?
And handed her off.

If the mother hand her off to Coe or put Shaniya on couch so no hear anything in the MH. I betting mom hand her off to him out side the door.

I would think that Coe could not be charge with the kipnap... but maybe a charge that he hinder the investiage.....not really sure what kind of charge.

If mom hand her to Coe I would think that not a kipnap and I say Mom in more trouble than Coe.

Could Coe have threatened her with her daughter disappearing???Naw I think from what LE said about Mom's stories changing Mom must be in on it. MOO

BBM

There was custody fights going on according to pd.

Also, favor could be drug related IMO - stranger things have happened.

Mom changed her story???? If she was not involved, story would have been the truth from the get go and would not need to be changed. IMO
