I would think so. My husband and I are in many hotels due to business travel and I always notice parking lot surveillance. Hotels in general seem to have good surveillance IMO.

It isn't impossible! Maybe the grocery store has video surveillance and you could tell the store manager what you believe you saw?

Thanks it would not be hard to track the surv. as I have my reciept to show when I checked out. Maybe I should this little girl looked just like her down to the ponytail in her hair...She seemed a little heavier then the pictures I saw but this girl was around the same age...Nothing seemed to be out of sorts...

Ok you all I am throwing this out here. I posted this on an earlier thread. When I was out shopping yesterday (Wed) getting grocery's I saw a child in the store that looked almost identical to Shaniya. I bumped into this girl and woman at least 7 times in the store. I even told my husband about her looking just like the little girl who was missing.
I live in Colorado, NC is 1800 miles away what are the chances of her being here ?!! If they hopped a flight perhaps...Please any thoughts

I am praying that this child was not used as barter...for drugs. I know it is hard to believe anyone could do such a thing..but it happens more than we know.
It bothers me that LE has not had the mothers conversation..it is really disturbing. I hated to see the LE say "send her home so we can reunite her with family."..the myspace page before this happened really worries me also..
If this child is gone, maybe her death will result in the other children being given the opportunity to live.

I don't know how long it would have taken him to get from the Murchison Rd. area to hwy 87N, I wouldn't think it would take 30 mins. But once he got to Bragg Blvd/87N it is a straight shot, new 4 lane hwy, not alot of traffic once you get off Bragg, depending on the traffic at that hr. which is prob scarce. If he left w/ her at around 5:30am he could have been in Sanford by 6:15am easy. imo. To leave and be checked into the hotel by 611 well, yes it could be done, he would have been speeding is all.

LE needs to stop saying family and start saying specifically to drop her off or bring her back so she can be reunited with her father.
This man may not have any desire to reunite her with her mother and the bf.

And if there is no DSS history on the father's part, they need to publicize that. They need to paint this man in a rosy light, make him look like a saint and get more than just those 2 people there to stand beside him.
Have him look into that camera and say thank you for caring for her. Now it's my turn.
