NC - Shaniya Davis, 5, missing from her home 11/10/09 #4

I just watched this Patty and you are absolutely right! She does say there will be more at 11:30. I'm hoping they are going to tell us they have Shaniya.

On another thought - I have only seen one video with the dad. For all of you that have been following closely - what is the general consenus on the dad? Does he look like a stand up fellow that will take good care of his daughter?

He seemed normal enough that I wondered what would be so wrong with him (as I did before he went public) that he couldn't get custody over this mother who has his kid living in an overrun trailer with sewage and possible drug use in it. I wonder if race became a custody issue.

I also thought that maybe the mother and someone connected to her may have decided that he had "money" (relatively speaking here) and would pay a ransom.

LE must have decided that they stand a better chance with him as their public face than the mother. I'd think that they would allow the standard plea for return, even if she was pulling a Susan Smith.

Trying to catch up on all that's happened on this case. Wow! I wish I could say differently, but I don't have a good feeling here...not at all. And they haven't yet 'cleared' the mother? Or has that changed too since last night? You may have discussed that & if so, I missed it.

Maybe he admitted to her being with him but that he kidnapped her. Someone (maybe mom) knew he had her they were on to him pretty quick....

What's the dad's name?

I thought I hear last night watching Patty video that when dad was leaving the girl said his name was Bradley.

the video at hotel showing them getting on elevator.

I am feeling that he meant someone at the hotel to hand Shaniya off to.

I wonder if they have video tape of him going into a room?...... or did I miss that?

O/T a Little Bit:

I noticed on NG the other night it showed quite a few different photos of little Shaniya. I always notice backgrounds in pictures and noted that in all of Shaniya's photos was very nice surroundings.. A birthday party and you could tell the photo was taken in a nice, clean dining area, there was another taken out in front of a nice brick home. Also, in everyone of the photos, she wasclean, hair was fixed and was wearing an adorable dress or outfit. Did anyone else notice this? Wonder if these were taken at grandma's or some other relative.

Have we heard from any relative other than her father?????

This tells me that Shaniya knew clean and neat surroundings, somewhere outside of the park where she was living in a trailer with a sewage problem.

Shaniya is an absolutely beautiful little girl. I pray that she is found safe....

I noticed it also. I was thinking it was the father who supplied the pictures. the poor man is so upset he can barely make a plea for her. Maybe the mother is the same way. I know what I think I'd do, but everyone is different, I guess

I'm 99.9% sure it is her on the ms pages. I searched the friends and there is one juicy that has pics of her sisters one is of Antwanette. that girls last name is the C--. All three MS have the same profile pic so that pic is at least a year old as the last log in in one page is 08.
As far as the video I'm not so sure. Maybe that is not her and is the aunt. I don't think the white lady is related. She to me seems like someone in LE, DSS, or maybe health department. IDK
