CCSO confirms a missing persons report has been filed for Shanna Perry.

Perry was last seen on April 26 on Delco Prosper Road.

A Columbus County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said they’ve called in the NC State Bureau of Investigation to assist as well.

The spokeswoman said the sheriff’s office is not releasing any additional information about the case at this time, as to not interfere in the investigation.

The Delco woman disappeared April 26. She was last seen near her home on Delco Prosper Road, according to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office. Her mother Tracy said Shanna is pregnant and needs daily medication. Tracy Perry is caring for Shanna’s 18 month old child.

The last person to see Shanna alive was Lance Sandlin IV, Tracy said. Sandlin is the toddler’s father, Tracy Perry said. Shanna was arrested in September after allegedly pointing a gun at Sandlin and his ex-wife.

Sherry Hall Spivey, who said she is Shanna’s aunt, said Friday that the missing woman has “made some mistakes, but we all have.

“No one deserves to be just thrown away,” she said. “We just want to find her body.”

About 30 minutes from Wilmington in Delco, North Carolina, a mother of a missing pregnant woman, Shanna Perry, 34, is pleading for the public's help in finding her daughter. She was last seen by her boyfriend, Lance Sandlin Jr., at a house on Delco Prosper Road in Columbus County on April 26.

"I just want her back so she can be buried properly," Shanna's mom, Tracy Perry, told WECT on June 5. "I just want anybody out there to please, I'm begging with everything I've got, to please come forward and tell me where she's at."

Tracy Perry told the outlet Shanna was allegedly in an abusive relationship and fears she could've been killed. Shanna was five months pregnant when she was last seen and Tracy is caring for her 18-month-old child.

She described Shanna as trying to turn her life around after she was arrested in September for allegedly pointing a guy at Sandlin, her toddler's father, during a fight.

Authorities have updated charges for one of the suspects connected to the death of Shanna Perry, who disappeared in April 2024.

According to an arrest warrant, Lance Sandlin is now charged with murder of an unborn child. The document states Perry was pregnant at the time she was murdered.
