Thank you for posting this case Gardener.

I wonder if she is this Doe found in 1997 in Randolph county, which is approx 1 hour and 45 mins away from St Pauls, and just under 2 hours from where her car was left in Lumberton.

SHIRLEY ANN MCNAIR
MISSING SINCE 03.27.1994
NamUs Case# MP7915

26 years ago today, Shirley Ann McNair received a phone call at her Church Street Extension home in St. Pauls. She told her mother she would be right back and climbed into her blue 1987 Dodge car. She was wearing a red dress shirt, red dress pants, and black dress shoes. Shirley Ann McNair has not been seen or heard from since. Her car was found by family the next day in southwest Lumberton in the parking lot of the Oak Ridge Club. Law enforcement was notified after a missing persons report was filed. Law enforcement said there were no signs of foul play in the vehicle. However, she left behind in her car her purse with cash and her glasses still inside. There were no clues or leads for them to go on. Her family, including her son Frank McNair who was only 3 days shy of his 10th birthday the day his mother left, have had to endure 26 years of not knowing where their loved one may be or what may have happened to her. After 26 years though, they have not given up hope. Her son Frank, who will be turning 36 in 3 days, is still searching for answers that will lead him to his mother.

If you have ANY information, no matter how small the detail may seem to you, PLEASE contact the Robeson County Sheriff's Department at 910-671-3100 or Crime Stoppers at 910-865-TIPS(8477)

<<The serial killer Sean Patrick Goble is a possible suspect in McNair's disappearance. A truck driver from Asheboro, North Carolina, he is in prison, convicted of murdering three women, and investigators believe these were not his only victims. He has never been charged in McNair's case, however.>>
