What about James Allen Christopher? Missing in North Carolina 2014, somebody has been convicted in his case. Apparently the killer dumped James’ body off a bridge potentially in the cape fear river, however he wasn’t 100% sure where. Is it like he could have got the river wrong, or the body could have traveled to the Neuse river? James has a tribal tattoo on his upper right arm, however I’ve not found any images of said tattoo just yet. I am aware that the UID is much shorter than James however, it’s said James was potentially dismembered/mutilated before being put into the river. Here’s his namus.
There's an additional photo on NamUs of his face where you can see part of his tattoo. It appears to be black or green and a bit larger than the decedent's tattoo but it is not in focus and the photo is already small and blurry. The hard circumstances do seem to match up though and it's always good to get more exclusions.
This case could probably be solved by genetic geneology, IMO. A relatively young man found in a river and unidentified for 8 years -- tragic. Someone out there is missing him.
