NC - Student shot dead by classmate in Butler High School, Matthews, 29 Oct 2018

A high school student was shot dead by a classmate inside their Matthews, North Carolina, school Monday morning. The police statement said the suspect was also a student. Investigators have the weapon used. Police said they believe the shooting was an "isolated incident," and authorities have secured the campus.

yes, I am also amazed that this thread has 2 posts and is way back on page 6. We're becoming immune and that is just not ok. So very very sad for these families and their communities AND FOR THE REST OF THIS COUNTRY where this continues to happen.

I have friends with kids at Butler HS and many that work in CMS (our public school system). Today has been a hot mess of anxiety for our area.
