A grandmother charged with murdering her granddaughter was to make a first appearance in court today.

Mount Olive Police officials said Carolyn Ann Boyette, 57, of East Slocumb Street in Mount Olive was charged with murder Saturday and held without bond until today's hearing.

Investigators said Ms. Boyette was apparently involved in an argument with her 21-year-old granddaughter Tiesha Faison early Saturday afternoon. The two women were at the home of Ms. Faison's great-grandmother across the street from where they live. http://www.newsargus.com/news/archi...rs_death_to_appear_in_court_today/index.shtml
