I just heard on the news (ABC/WTVD) that officials are focusing on a dumpster near the residence. It was a quick blurb. This is sickening.

The story's a little confusing right now but yeah, LE seems to be focused on the trash area :(. I don't know if the warrants contain a typo or what but they have the parents living in different apartments. And it looks like LE is searching a third apartment?

I sure hope the warrants are intact - I'd hate to see evidence get excluded.

Police blocked off an apartment and a trash bin in the Arbor Creek apartment complex off Buck Jones Road. It is not clear to whom the apartment is leased.

Police spokesman Jim Sughrue said the 911 call that reported Tristan missing came from 5416-1 Portree Place, the address listed on warrants as Dangerfield’s residence. Blue’s warrant shows he lives at 5417-1 Portree Place.

RALEIGH, N.C. — As authorities searched for a third day for a missing 2-year-old Raleigh boy, his parents made their initial court appearances Friday morning in connection with his disappearance and suspected death.

http://www.wral.com/raleigh-man-held-without-bond-in-son-s-suspected-death/14307823/

This article says they both live at the same address - 5416-1.

Briana Loriel Dangerfield, 25, of the same address, is charged with misdemeanor child abuse. Gregory set a $100,000 bond for her and ordered her to surrender her passport and not leave North Carolina if she posts bond and is released from jail. She also was appointed an attorney.

High bond and interesting that she had to surrender her passport for a misdemeanor charge. I wonder if more charges are coming?

As the details of this little one's 2 years are colored in by the MSM, my heart is weighing more and more heavily. How many people are involved in the harming of this child! Absolutely disgraceful, shameful.

I'm grateful LE seems to be all over it, I only wish it hadn't taken this level of tragedy for people to notice the repulsiveness of his home life.

We just received word that Little Jayden Morrison was found in a pond in Horry County, SC. :rose:

I'm going to put my :earson: and listen in downstairs to one of the feeds downstairs for Raleigh (Wake County), NC. There are two available. What we hear has to stay there.

Just wanted to let y'all know.

I deleted my last post because I thought Tristan was the child found. Now he needs to be found and brought home like Jayden was so his family can find peace. Too many missing children lately and killed at the hands of their parents. :(

Ah, sweet little guy. Fly with the angels.

According to the video dad's eligible for the death penalty. I'm anticipating he'll reveal where Tristan's body is after a deal to take that off the table. The word "scum" keeps popping into my head.

Mom's facing 150 days in jail if convicted - her next court date is Jan. 12. How could she, as Tristan's mother, not help LE find his little body? She's gotta know where he is.

Nasty, awful people.

So according to the article mom left Tristan home alone. Then what? He made a mess as a 2 year old would so dad killed him? I don't get why she left him alone. It seems a great many people cared for this boy. Was there no one available to take him?

She may not know where his body is, if dad killed Tristan while she was at work. But if she is being charged for leaving him alone then where was sad when she went to work? This is a little confusing at the moment. Wonder if dad works shifts and mom left before dad arrived home?

It just seems odd (and a little cruel) for LE to go after mom so quickly if she had nothing to do with Tristan's death. Why would they put her in jail on a misdemeanor if they were convinced she had no knowledge of what happened?

Right now the timeline stinks. I'm not sure when mom left for work - Tristan was supposedly last seen at 8 am and was not reported missing until 1:15 pm but I can't find info on who saw him last, mom or dad.

And now this, from the 911 call:

In a 911 called released Friday by Raleigh police, the caller told the dispatcher she woke up 15 minutes previously to find a 3-year-old missing.

The caller said there was a package outside the house and the child was gone.

The caller tells 911 she has walked around the complex screaming for the child and that neighbors are out looking for him.

She also says she isn't sure if the child can open the door to get out of the apartment.

“He can close it and unlock it but I haven't seen him able to open it,” the caller said.

More on the 911 call:

Other than an arrest warrant alleging that Dangerfield left her son home unattended while she went to work, authorities haven't provided any details about their investigation.
...
The caller, whose name was redacted, told a dispatcher she works overnight and that, after waking up and discovering Tristan gone, she walked around the apartment complex screaming for him.

And more...

During the 4-minute 911 call, Dangerfield did not mention Blue’s whereabouts. She said she had worked at her job overnight but did not say where she is employed.

I can't even read this thread. The title alone has me so upset that I don't think I would be responsible for my actions if these parents were in front of me! UGH UGH UGH! Only a baby, that should have been happily awaiting Christmas, instead, who knows the torture he endured. WTH is wrong with some people??? Send the kid to someone else if you don't want them!! But noooo they'll lose their control and abuse victim if they did that! SICKENING!!!!!!!

I just watched the local (WRAL) news blurb on the case. They were going with the "they seem like a normal couple...happy child...can't imagine he would kill his son..." from neighbors.

One thing that the reporter did say is that neighbors thought they were moving around Thanksgiving. There was furniture and boxes out in front of their place...then they didn't move, so some thought it was odd.

Shades of the Jhessye Shockley case playing out here, right down to the garbage bin. :banghead:

Poor sweet little Tristan, another precious child discarded as if he were nothing.

This is all I have seen so far -- the article cited has no new info that I could discern -- anyway, this may be good/bad news.

[h=2]WRAL.com Just In: Raleigh police say human remains found in northern Wake County lake[/h]Raleigh police searching for the body of 2-year-old Tristan Blue - who was reported missing on Wednesday - say divers have found remains in Beaver Dam Lake in northern Wake County. The remains have been sent to the state medical examiner's officer to determine if they are those of the boy.

The above is an email to me from WRAL News notification service.

If the remains are Tristan I would say either there was a witness to the dumping or the wife talked and got a deal. This lake is on the opposite end of the county from their apartment. Not someplace LE would automatically search.

I was just thinking the same thing.

My guess is that he talked in an effort to avoid having the death penalty option on the table.

I am sickened. Truly. Put them both under the jail and throw away the key. I want to say more, but I'd end up with a permanent trip to band camp :silenced:

I have a sinking feeling we will hear an update from the ME that the ID is this is Tristan. I can only pray I am wrong. :please: :tears:

Yup, that's a possibility, too.
