Found Deceased NC - Tru Quan 'Sandy' Le, 23, Charlotte, 10 Aug 2016 *Arrest*

A private investigator hired by the family told Channel 9 text messages indicate she was meeting Alex Castillo, 17, of Charlotte. Sandy hasn’t been seen since.

That is interesting. How is it possible for the private investigator to see those text messages? I had read that Sandy's "phone has been turned off". From that I had assumed Sandy had her phone with her person, but that it was turned off. http://wncn.com/2016/08/12/woman-2-teens-reported-missing-from-charlotte-believed-to-be-connected/ Oh, I just had the thought that it must mean Sandy had texted others of her intention to meet up with Alex, and those are the messages the PI uncovered. Duh, me. I thought there was some amazing new software out there that could see someone's phone texts even without having the phone. Sometimes I'm not so bright, lol!
What about Alex and Ahmia's phones. LE are not able to track them?

Not knowing enough of the three missing, a couple scenarios came to my mind:
1) Alex and Ahmia have done something to Sandy and are hiding out.
2) Sandy is a jealous ex and is holding Alex and Ahmia captive.

This is so bizzare. I heard this on the news over the weekend and thought maybe they all left together (as friends) until I found out more of the dynamic.

I hate this! It doesn't mention (that I noticed) finding a body but they have moved it to a homicide. I wonder why they think that.

Selvey said authorities had confirmed that Castillo and Feaster crossed into Mexico but said he didn’t know details on the crossing or how people sought in a missing-persons case could transit the border.

Well, there should be camera footage of the money being withdrawn. I don't believe they've said anything about that yet. Maybe it was AC or AF that withdrew the money. Le was 23, so she probably had a credit card, so maybe the other two were using that as well. And since they took her car... I think there's probably enough circumstantial evidence to draw the conclusion that it was a homicide.
