Castillo's stepfather told FOX 46 Charlotte that Castillo's aunt got a call from Castillo saying he was going to Mexico. Castillo's mother notified police.

Case of missing persons turned over to homicide detectives

Castillo and his girlfriend, 19-year-old Ahmia Feaster went missing on Tuesday. Feaster was last seen leaving her house to pick up Castillo on August 12.
Le reportedly left her home Tuesday evening to meet up with the couple.
Le, who is Castillo's ex-girlfriend, also went missing last Wednesday.
According to Jennifer Simmons, the private investigator hired by Le’s family, Castillo owed the 23-year-old money and he told her he would meet with her to repay the loan.

Where did she get her money? At 23 I didn't even have 1,000 in my bank account at any time. I was a poor college kid working full time to pay for school and my apartment and gas lol.

I had a thought and went back to look at the part I quoted. Here's the paragraph above:

Le’s 2003 Toyota Corolla was recovered in Phoenix, Selvey said, and was considered stolen, thus leading to charges against the other two.

There was no evidence recovered from the car that indicated any violence, Selvey said.

It occurred to me that there are *two* cars in the mix here. If the corolla had no evidence of violence, maybe Feaster's SUV *did*! I don't think LE made any statement about the condition of the SUV or if any evidence was recovered from it.

Le’s family members have hired private investigator Jennifer Simmons to help with the search.

She says she’s looking into suspicious items found in the car, including a possible gun. Police have not confirmed that.

Most banks won't let you withdraw that much at the atm

Well, there should be camera footage of the money being withdrawn. I don't believe they've said anything about that yet. Maybe it was AC or AF that withdrew the money. Le was 23, so she probably had a credit card, so maybe the other two were using that as well. And since they took her car... I think there's probably enough circumstantial evidence to draw the conclusion that it was a homicide.

I forgot about that. If she/they went inside a bank, there would be tons of security video... but if she were under duress inside a bank i would think she would have plenty of opportunity to alert someone, scream, something.
