Yes, that was my other choice. Both doors open could mean two attackers or one attacker and she tried to get away. Oh dear God, 17 years old.

This is a sad story and local for me. I cannot for the life of me comprehend it. I didn't know her family or anything, but it hits home as I have a child the same age.

That’s been my question since she was so young, what could make her an intended victim? Or a target for robbery? It is quite a bit to try and comprehend.

She told her parents that she was going out with friends, then called her parents at 7pm to say she was coming home.
Then at 8pm she is found dead in her car.
I wonder if she went into the Bojangles to eat. Something went horribly wrong in the space of an hour. Poor kid. Moo.

Thanks for opening this thread, @steeltowngirl -- I live in Raleigh, NC, and I saw/read this on the local news, but I wasn't able to start a thread at the time. SMH.
This shouldn't have happened to a 17 year old young woman. Oh, her poor family -- she was there one day and not there the next.
Just dammit.
