Details of Disappearance​

Lecompte was last seen in Greensboro, North Carolina on January 31, 2007. He left the city on a Greyhound bus headed for Charlotte, North Carolina.

He may have traveled to Atlanta, Georgia afterwards; it's also possible he went to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he used to live. He has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case.

Namus says 4'11" while Charley Project says 5'9". His nicknames included the words Little and Shorty so I'd assume it was on the lower end. I was gonna say he looks like this man, but the exposure of the photo makes it hard to tell.

I would guess that the 4'11 is correct but not sure where 5'9 came from unless it was an error (CP has errors, I've seen plenty). The problem there is agencies and people rely on CP for information and before you know it wrong information is everywhere. He was also reported missing in LA as well because he used to live there and they must have thought he might be going back there. They have him listed as 5'9 as well but a 2007 news report says 4'11. The article says "He was last seen on foot around 2:00 pm on January 31, at the Summit View Shopping Center or at the Bus Depot in Greensboro, North Carolina.He was wearing dark blue casual pants, a blue Starter Dallas Cowboy jacket, black tennis shoes and a baseball cap. LeCompte suffers from a mental condition which causes him to become confused.
