‘North Carolina police are searching for an 8-year-old boy who disappeared Saturday while attending a block party in his Wilmington neighborhood.’

‘Yaasir is a black male who stands 4 feet tall and weighs around 50 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black Old Navy t-shirt, black and white Vans shoes, and blue shorts.’

‘First Update reports that Yaasir Ames vanished from the 200 block of W 36th Street at 3 p.m. while attending a party off of the 300 block of the same street. His mother, Ramona Grayson, told police she gave the boy permission to attend the party. Wilmington Police have been canvassing the area but so far have been unable to locate the child.’
