So from the looks of these charges..... The first one dates back to 2006 (DWLR). Then the Unsafe Tires is from 2009. All of the others are from this year. Interesting that she has her first court date coming up fo the larceny by employee (10/15/2010).

So did she just never show up for court on th 06 and 09 tickets? Was she out on bond for the larceny by employee? I ask this b/c if she were just arrested for that why is her court date for that one so quick?

This may be why they moved around so much, trying to ditch going to court over all of these charges.
The fire is so Hinky, seems like dad was just taking mom's word about the little one ... I feel terrible for him, I don't believe he has anything to do with this, but SM yes..................jmo

Did they state somewhere that the SM was her teacher? I may have missed that, but it is quite probable that she may have been on the home bound program through the school district. Many students under medical treatment are included in that service because it eliminates their exposure to viruses and infections which are so easily spread at schools. They are also easily tired by long school days, and the extra effort of her managing on a prothesis would only add to that factor.

Where is Zahra? I am so disturbed by this case, I had a difficult time sleeping.

Anyone else find it odd that she supposedly slept from 2:30am to 2pm...12 hours. That's too long for a child of 10 to sleep...was she drugged? Also, I wonder what medications she may be on - how long can Zahra go without them. Fires don't start on their own...and there's so many other things. moo mho

no they didn't... but they didn't say she was enrolled in a school system/district and that the last one she was enrolled in (during one of their moves) was to be checked into by LE (caldwell county school system) where she did go to school.

I am just going to state my opinion but I don't think she was on any school organized home bound program. :twocents:

from my understanding from the abc video (although we all know how acurate these reports can be LOL) she had "beaten" cancer... so she was a kid with a prosthesis and hearing aids... from the video she was in for her hearing aids she didn't look like a kid who would let that keep her bound up at home... not at all but again that is just my opinion...

and I am also a little sensitive with this case because I survived childhood cancer, chemo and surgery and nothing kept me from school... and when I saw that video of her.. so excited... it reminded me so much of myself..

eyes, LE has not said anything about meds. It has been reported that she "beat" cancer so she seems to be like a kid who is otherwise healthy but left with all the "crap" that cancer leaves you with ((as a cancer survivor I term them the 'parting gifts'))

One of the neighbors, the one with the Aussie accent, says he never had seen Zahra. The older guy, the next door neighbor, said he hadn't ever seen her. The Bakers must be VERY new to the neighborhood! I don't believe she would be kept inside due to weak immune system. She was in public school until recently.

Nurse, I'm so glad you beat the cancer you had as a child. Children are so brave and amazing.

Sounds like Zahra had a bone tumor, and the chemotherapy tx she was on, I'm sure, caused the hearing loss. That kind of hearing loss is hard to detect because it manifests in pitches of sound and not total hearing loss. Usually translates into speech problems that translates into other problems, such as communicating and understanding school assignments.

Homeschooling wouldn't be unusual - looks like she has beat the bone cancer for now and is certainly a brave and healthy looking little girl. She is a survivor at 10yo. The possibility that she was harmed is so outrageous, my thinking shorts out at the thought of it. moo mho

Looks like money problems. Didn't dad say he was at an interview for a job or does he have a 2nd job? Their medical bills have to be astronomical. moo mho

bbm from abc interview with Dad, he states he saw Zahra Thursday night. He got up for work on friday before she did and didn't get home until she was allegedly already in bed.

SM states she "checked on" Zahra at 0230 and Dad states he was sleeping. At some point there was a fire and the department came to the house. He states he didn't see/check on Zahra at that time. He got up on Saturday and went to a job and got home and states he was out doing some yard work when his wife comes screaming out of the house at 2pm that Zahra is missing.

what I want to know is who saw Zahra on Friday... did she go to school? If the SM is involved something easily could have happened to her as early as Thursday night if no one saw her after that point!

I hope this poor little girl is found soon...

BBM. Why would she come out screaming and crying that Zahra was missing? Wouldn't it seem that she would come outside and say, "Hey, Zahra's not in the house -- did she come outside with you? Have you seen her?" Maybe walk around the property a bit, call for her, etc.

That she was already hysterical before coming outside indicates to me that she knew there was no need to look around outside or ask if husband had seen her -- she already knew Zahra was gone. Wonder why.

The case of this precious child has so touched my heart. I am supposed to be cleaning house but can hardly concentrate, keep coming back to the computer. Where ARE you, Zahra Claire?!!!

She got the new hearing aids in May. End of school year. I thought maybe her hearing problems made school difficult for her. But, with the new aids, she might do great...if she was in school. Then, we don't know when she attended public school. Last year, but for how long?
