Does anyone have the link to the article where it first mentioned that Zahra's bio mom had been searching for Zahra for five years and didn't know Adam remarried and moved to the USA?

Maybe I'm wrong (it's happened twice :innocent but I always thought most of these parents that kill their children must regret it or feel remorse. Even the one's with NPD must ask themselves after being caught why they didn't just give the kids away, no? So I think what's got me so upset with this beautiful little angel is how her father could come close to losing her not once but twice and not realize how much her life meant to him. We all take everything including our loved ones for granted at times, but I just don't understand how seeing this brave sweet baby suffer and come through didn't put his life into perspective.

Ugh, my heart just broke a little more.

I know, my daughter is turning ten in a week. I cannot imagine how difficult this would be for her to process if it were one of her friends.

How do you comfort your child in the face of such an ugly truth? Parents don't always do as they should. How do you make your child feel safe in a world where a mom (or SM) could be responsible for such awful acts upon the child she should be loving and caring for?

Heart breaking.

4;17-AB says the last time he "100%, genuinely" (strange wording IMO) saw his daughter out of bed was Tuesday!! He later corrects himself (when the reporter asks him about if he was sure he meant Tues.) and says Thursday. I'm wondering if he saw her at all that week!!:waitasec:

Respectfully snipped--essies, way back in a previous thread, Dear Prudence caught this too. "...that's pretty much the whole 100% of what I completely know so far..." (1:45), "100% genuinely saw my daughter out of bed would have been Tuesday" (right about 2:00). As DP pointed out, this is the kind of over-assertion and use of qualifiers (saw her "out of bed?") that we see when people are lying.

Back to frantically catching up. The thread never sleeps, but I had to... Was hoping for a Zahra dream but didn't get anything clear. rayer:
