Edited because everyone else heard she "Is ten years old", not "Was 10 years old". Sorry.
He is accused of running someone of the road.
His neighbors said HE fought with his wife into the middle of the night so loudly it woke them and shook the pictures of their walls.
He lived in this place for six weeks and none of his neighbors ever saw his daughter. He never mentioned her.
He knew his wife was beating her. Everyone knew it.
He is not some shrinking violet or an ostrich with his head in the sand. By his own admission he hadn't laid eyes on a daughter he lived with since Thursday.
This goes way beyond being a bit clueless or naive. He is very calm while dealing with LE and hasn't gotten himself arrested, yet. He is not stupid by any stretch of the imagination.
imo of course
Really Patty? What about concern under circumstances similar to this? Would he not even have been asking how quickly someone would be there?
I don't panic @ times of crisis, but I am definitely emotional and there is no way I could keep that out of my voice.
eta~Thank You so much once again for your youtube channel Patty..I depend on you more than you know!

Why on earth didn't MC ask them about Zahra. Did he even know about her? :waitasec:
I not sure either. But.... Why in the HE11 would his mother not try to stop him from taken her grandaughter? If he has all the disabilities we think he does. I just don't see her letting him just take her to the US with out a fight. We aren't hearing anything like that from anyone from where he is from.
So many questions................
Did anyone else notice that when AB was asked by the 911 operator of his daughter's age, he referred to her in past tense? "She was 10 years old."

The problem with any of these points is that we don't know what EB is saying to AB. He may have been told she was up while he was out and that Z had decided to go back to bed, so we really don't know that Z was in the room for 12 hours. I get the sense that he is very laid back and does what EB tells him and believes whatever EB tells him.
In regards to the ransom note, we don't know that he saw the note or at what time it was determined to have been written by EB.
If Z was no longer going to school and things were deteriorating at home she may have developed depression in which case it would be easy for Z to have stayed in her room all the time. (As a sufferer of depression that is easy to do and yet when having to be in public no one would know you just put on a good face often).
Zahra being a polite, thoughtful girl I would imagine would do the same so no one else worried.
In my opinion I believe AB doesn't really know what is going on (could be wrong) and that the fire was to draw attention to the note and that the police would then search the house to find Zahra missing.
It would then become a case of mistaken identity.
this didn't happen so EB had to come up with some other way to report her missing.
EB was stupid enough to write the note in her own hand without any attempt to hide her particular style.:smiliescale: in regards to the abuse claims, seeing who has made them it is really difficult to verify their legitimacy.
:detective: what we do need it more info on sightings during the last 2-3 weeks confirmed outside of the family.
:banghead: I find it sooooooooooo frustrating that these kids are now going missing seemingly off the face of the earth without a trace. I fear it is going to be new trend to leave reporting as long as possible to minimise tracking and evidence.
This and the Kiesha case are the two that I have been following and it is tearing my heart apart how these two girls can disappear without a trace. I hope with all my heart that they are found alive (I know it isn't likely) and found soon and the culprits put behind bars forever.

She tried to the point of them falling out and her not having any contact details for them in the States, no phone number, no address. Grandparents should have some rights, shouldn't they?

Bottom line for me is:
If he just went through the "drama" the night before of someone mistaking his house for his boss's house, and attempting to burn a vehicle, burning the yard, and leaving a ransome note......why wouldnt he check on his own daughter? You would..if a kidnapper is going to go so far as to mistake your house and your car, why wouldnt they mistake your daughter? Why wouldnt that put you into a tailspin of terror and send you running into your house to check if your daughter was taken instead? (why wouldnt police? something is missing here....) Werent the police on scene? Some officer has some serious explaining to do...in my opinion.
Bottom line is: A loving, caring, and INNOCENT parent would have instantly checked on their child, afraid that they were taken due to mistaken identity, and nothing can make me feel different about this.
No parent concerned that upon calling 911 because it "appears they took.." his daughter "instead", is going to laugh when talking about her broodiness.
Ive not only fallen off the fence, Ive torn the fence down.

did not notice that..<<shudders>>
I thought he said: "She's 10!"
If LE thinks that she may have been dead (or missing) for two weeks prior to the discovery she was gone, then I am afraid AB has some accountability. NO ONE goes two weeks without seeing their daughter-even a non caring father-he must have some clue.
