I wonder if EB or AB had a cell phone?? If LE has any phone pings to look at??

Yes permission from both parents is required.

Regarding giving up rights to the child I don't know if this has happened or if that would make a difference in regards to passport.

So then if I am understanding correctly, she either gave permission, she had given up her rights or he took her out of the country illegally. Is this correct?

this is a far out theory.......

but we def know at least the stepmum has something to do with it because of the fake ransom note to try and hide the real disappearance.....

they moved about 6 weeks ago......
zahra was last seen about 4 weeks ago

they said they were going to home school her when they moved....but never applied....

dad and stepmum have horrific fights....

by all accounts dad was a loving and supportive dad in Australia, who stood by his daughter when the chips were down....

stepmum was definitely not treating her right

what if they thought she was getting sick again.....and with having cancer twice in such a short time, there is a big chance it was somewhere else.......

and really did not want to go thru it again or thought there was not a chance she would survive, they had an indication of this a couple of months ago.......stepmum not happy about looking after dying child, dad has new life and also doesnt want to go thru it.....they dont bother putting her in school and give her a drug overdose.......

very far out I know but a possibility

One of the comments on the facebook site was from a LD, a friend of the mothers who was having a bit of a confrontation with KB about when the mother last saw Zahra........in that LD says that the mother did not give her permission for Zahra to be taken to the US

Is this group page for Zahra? I check different ones randomly for any info but haven't looked through all the posts on there tonight.

I agree....I mean I have lost my son in a shopping centre......after about 2 mins every man was looking like a creepy paedophile and I was in tears.....nearly hysterical.......I tell you if I had of lost him for half an hour I would have been running up and down the aisles screaming and would be incoherent....

The little girl from across the road wandered down the street last year, she was gone about 20 minutes, I came down the road and there was already a police car there and I could hear the mother before I could see her, she was hysterical......

When my daughter was 2 I let her lay down with me in my room I fell asleep I wole up and she was no where to be found I made a quick mad dash to check the doors all of them were still locked but we had a doggy door. So I called 911 I was in hysterics they came out and search through the whole house too. They were calling in a k9 unit when we heard a sound coming from the spare bedroom What happened was I had put laundry on that bed to fold later and she had somehow managed to completely cover herself will laundry I know I personally looked there so did 2 of the officers without seeing her I was never so terrified in my life I can still feel that shear terror just remembering it. So the non chalant 911 call baffles me. Her dad was also terrified he had to be driven from work he was so shakin up

Agatha, I wonder if you can help me with some codes and VERY interesting docs. ty

I'm running across a couple catagories within the charges I'm not sure how to read correctly, looking for a clearer meaning within the info cells.

I/E

Blood Alcohol >=
0.16

5

Can you tell me if her blood alcohol was a 5? for example at the time of offense? I see different readings, unsure here.

One more, on occasion I see a different coded flag I/E

Domestic Violence
Convicted Flag

R

Can't say I know how to interpret these items correctly yet.

Hi Peliman,

I really don't understand those codes yet, either.. but hope to find some time to work on that tomorrow.

I *think* the blood alcohol field is actually showing a number of times (incidents) in which her blood alcohol level was greater than 0.16

Another possibility is that she may have been alcohol-tested routinely while on probation. (There is a "probation violation" charge showing up in the records, but I haven't figured out exactly when that probation period was -- supervised or unsupervised?) If so, I still think the number there would represent a number of times, rather than a measurement pertaining to the specific case#.

I'll try to do some research on this and clear up what we're seeing there.

I know in the Texas county where I live, if a person tests over the legal alcohol limit (on any occasion) while on probation -- more times than not -- the probation gets revoked and the defendant does some kind of jail time.

It looks to me like things may be considerably more lax in the counties where EB has lived.

ETA:

I'll check on the Domestic Violence codes too.. There is no "legend" in the records to decipher these.. but.. in looking through lots of records, I've seen R, B, and N as possible values in that field (not necessarily in EB's records; in hers I see just "R").

yep is the love for Zahra site...

Have just noticed that someone said why isnt KB here to see if her son is lying or not and AY has come on and said in capitals "she is coming and if you had of given her $4000 she would have been here sooner"

someone said that they have discussed how the airfares would have been donated and she could have been here sooner...

at the moment with aud so high the airfares are so so cheap....but I suppose she would also need accommodation and will prob have to stay a while....

Revampz,

My only problem with that theory is that I just don't see these people being all that giving. "Sharing'' their 'stash' with Zahra just seems highly unlikely to me...no matter how sick she may have been.
Plus, and I don't mean to harp on this.....Zahra would have FREE medical care if they enrolled in the US. If they didn't want to take care of her at all...I'm not sure why anyone would think that Zarha's grandmother wouldn't take her back in as well.....or foster care. I know that would all require just a tiny bit of foresight, but not all that much. It's surprisingly easy to get free drugs, free medical care, and to hand your kid over to the state if you no longer want to raise her.
I don't know what drugs they were doing....but based on their severe weight loss, I'm confident Meth was one of them. IF they gave Zahra meth it could likely kill her....but these are the same people who lock her in her room for hours at a time....who taunt this little girl and make her walk down the street with and without her prosthetic leg.....I just don't see them easing her pain in any way.

Hmm, things are disappearing from some sites. Copy/paste/save is your friend.

I was thinking about this also today. I imagine she would not want to stay with EB's family so figure in, travel, lodging and meals for what could turn out to be a lengthy stay.....it could get extremely pricey.

OK ..... here is a wild scenario for folks to play around with ........

What if AB is so calm because he does know where ZB is because he has her hidden from EB.

Maybe he realised what was happening, particularly with EB stating she was homeschooling ZB

The claims from EB family members are true and so they have acted to help remove ZB from the situation

This may have been done secretly due to threats from EB

The abduction scenario was devised so EB wouldn't suspect

So we have EB writing the ransom note and playing her part in what she thinks is a way to get money?

Then we have AB and maybe AY taking ZB away and hiding her

KB arrives in US and then they can safely get ZB back to Oz out of harms way .......

Ok everyone tear this to shreds I posted it for discussion and in the hope that maybe there could be some hope yet to case .......

Dreaming I know but it is just to sad .....

If bio-mum was really looking for Zahra the past five years, it would have to have been on her own. Why? Because as some of us Aussies have said before, the amount of personal information available to anyone via the net in the US just isn't available here. However, if she'd been serious, she could have had AB/Zahra tracked through the social security system - they will do that (and especially for the bio-mum!). And as Zahra had such extensive medical care, she would have be found for sure.

As for KB - if she's been cut off from AB/Zahra since they went to the US against her wishes, how can she really know what's going on there? I know she can get some details from the police and EB's family, but she's not there.

The Facebook slagging off is so sad. Just when everyone needs to be cooperating to find Zahra and support each other, they're more interested in a catfight. :(

I truly do respect the feelings of people who feel opposite of me and I apologize if I upset anyone when I say this but when it comes to Bio-Mom... her claims do not fly with me.

When you are trying to find a missing child you leave a trail of proof. Either court, missing persons reports, going to the media, P.I., posting online, something. We have seen nothing but claims by her and a friend. Whether she knew Z was in the U.S. or not doesn't effect that trail. Searching is searching and proof is proof.

Also, if you can't find your child for any period of time (and you are seriously looking) you are going to authorities for help. Especially if you have the kind of rights that your sig is needed for her to leave the country. That's still your child and LE is your best bet. So you would run screaming for help. Where is that confirmation?

I'm sorry but until I see any of these things I do not believe bio mom was honestly searching.

Just my opinion but I think the mom at some point walked away from Z... and daddy did what he wanted. If he needed her signature to get Z to the U.S. maybe he forged it so he didn't have to try to hunt her down and deal with her. Especially if the split was not on good terms. I doubt EB wanted to spend any time hunting down Z's mother and by her past has no problem committing crimes, fraud and forgeries..

Seems the only one who cared for Z's best interest was grandma. Dad making the selfish decision to remove Z from that family and care while allowing EB to control it all ruined that bond. Not grandma. Grandma didn't have the rights to be able to stop anything. I can't imagine the hell she is going through now being essentially stuck and now her baby girl is missing from another country. It must be hell for her above any of these people.

Agree, and it took us what, a couple of hours to find all these players on facebook, and KB obviously is, so Zahra's mum could have found them too. I think she didn't try. Sounds like she hasn't even visited. Really? Not even when she heard about the cancer? Too late to reinvent a history now too.

This makes me oh so very sad - especially the part where he says his 10 year old daughter, Zahra, may be coming into puberty? HUH? WTF? My son is 13, and is certainly not holed up in his bedroom, only to come out when he needs something.

Most of us know that young girls thrive on attention, want to be with their friends, and out and about - whether it's shopping, going to the movies, or to the mall. I don't buy that excuse for anything. It's also a shame and embarassment for him to say that. Well, on top of "how ya doing".

He rambles on about the ransom note that his wife wrote. Which is a clear sign to me (IMHO) that he knew about that, and is in on this whole scam.

He's still out, he hasn't lawyered up -- why hasn't he been strapped to a LDT?

And above all, why can't LE get out of him "where is Zahra".

heavy sigh......

Mel
