I just get this sickining feeling in the pit of my stomach when I think about that mattress being taken by LE..
and todays pressor makes me think it even more... (paraphrasing) They said after interviewing people they have decided to check the landfill... I think a neighbor has seen a mattress along side the road for garbage pick-up... maybe at or near one of the old addresses. I think this maybe why they have a death scent in the Tahoe...and LE has taken the bed set because they suspect that they will not find Zahra's DNA on it.. Could also be why they were still questing if Zahra actually moved there... I get a lump in my thoat just typing this... as always ...JMO

These are the things that make me wonder if she made the move:

No neighbor at the new place saw her.

The neighbor that shares the fence discussed the dog with biodad, but never heard a word about Zahra.

LE did not do a wellness check with the fire 911 call. Which to me means that she was not mentioned by the parents. There was nothing about the house, yard, or vehicle that indicated a child lived there. Nothing that would lead LE to ask about her.

My first thought of how the heck did she manage to swindle $10,000 is dressing Zahra up to look like her and then taking the pictures we have seen and sent them to him with a sob story to make him feel sorry for her.

No records that I could definitively say are her. There are some records with very close (or exact first/last) names (using Winkler) -- but if the records are missing DOB and/or an address I can substantiate from other sources, then I blow them off.

So far.. in records I can validate against other sources.. the first surnames I see her having taken on are Harris and Proctor -- and she used those names interchangeably from 1992-1997.

She used the name Allred in 1998.

There's evidence she used the name Young from 1999 thru 2005 (and possibly into 2006).

I believe it's just one of the diseases she has alleged that she has. Along with brain cancer and umm a bullet wound in the line of duty or something. Maybe it was while writing a song for Chris Daughtry.

I wonder if LE has taken any soil samples from the tires on the vehicles and matched it up to the soil at the Landfill?

I know our local landfill is usually pretty muddy and usually need to wash your car after leaving.

You're too funny. After reading all the back bio info on EB and broadcasting her medical conditions all over the net, I'm pretty sure she wrote that Toby Keith song "I Wanna Talk About Me".

Her criminal history is sickening. I can only imagine the long line of people who have been hurt in some way by her and her selfishness. I'm irked she was allowed to walk around and do this b.s. for the years she has done so. I wish LE would have slammed her long before poor Z came along. However I won't say one bad thing about LE handing Z's case. Those people have done an amazing job. I just wish EB was stopped long ago. There was certainly enough of a reason to do so.

Well, I tried searching all her known aliases plus a DOB search and nothing comes up in SC criminal records.

If she was there, she was either on her best behavior - or she wasn't there very long!.. lol

Or to pass her off as her daughter. Maybe he felt sorry for her if he was led to believe she was a single mom trying to raise Zahra. Maybe he was sending her money to buy a passport, apply for a work permit/visa, airline tickets, etc. Heaven only knows.

I really wish he could get his money back. It sucks to be a sucker. How humiliating to have your name in paper under these circumstances.

Didn't his boss tell him to do the right thing and call police? And didn't the ransom note say "no cops? I bet they seriously expected he would fork over the million to them. It would also explain why they would call Mr. Coffey in, first for the fire, and then for the “missing” child. So did they kill ZH to pull of that scam? I think so. Claiming a case of mistaken identity.

Burke County has been part of the search for Zahra. Burke, Caldwell and Catawba are all closely linked...their borders are steps from each other. See the link below for information about Burke County Sheriff's Department and their work in and around Hartland Road. This is the area that was extensively searched around the wood chipper. All of these investigators and Law Enforcement Officers are working together.

So....at one time Burke County Sheriff McDevitt was the lead officer in the search of his county.

I don't believe this to be true. Different counties will cooperate and assist the LE from where the crime was committed, but they aren't put in charge of the investigation in their county. It would still be Deal. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the way it works .
