In this picture you can see the electrical plug on the wall. Does anyone know if this is the kind of plug in/prong outlet that would be in Australia? I know in Europe they have different sized/shaped ones than here in the US. Maybe this would help us figure out where the pic was taken?

ITA! Almost like she was trying to make her look like a boy? I also noticed in one photo that Zahra´s hair had been streaked blond. I don´t care if it´s the latest fashion and your daughter nags you to death, it´s not normal to dye the hair of 10 year old!

My own 9 yr old daughter wanted to put pink streaks in her hair last June, because some of the older kids at school were experimenting with hair colours/styles and she thought it was 'cool'. I convinced her otherwise when I explained that it involved bleaching her hair to remove her beautiful natural colour, and that it would take over a year to grow out. She settled for a type of temporary colour that washes out in a few washes. It washed out sooner than that during a trip to a waterpark She likes to choose her own style now, and went with a layered look. No more colours, except for a couple of fake extensions that she wore to school recently to see if she could 'trick' her friends.

Back to Zahra...I can see her not minding the streaks, but I can't imagine that she'd like that boyish hack-job on her hair for one minute. It really is dreadful and not her style at all. It looks like it was done 'to' her, as in not her choice, and to change her appearance. My daughter would cry if her hair was done like that!!

I recall this conversion from a previous thread awhile back, and someone had stated they thought it was a US outlet, because their Aussie ones are different. Sorry, I can't remember how far back to find and link it.

It looks like a standard three prong USA outlet.

This thread moves way too fast for someone working two jobs... Could someone fill me in on the last 36 hours? Last thing I heard was them searching the landfill. I admire all of you who can keep up on here, it must take some serious dedication!

There really hasn't been much information released.

1. EB's bond was raised.
2. AF testified against EB and is very afraid of her.
3. Team Adam had joined the search.
4. LE is looking for a key piece of evidence in the landfill.
5. LE seems interested in mattresses - reason is still unknow to the public.



I think that is about it.


OH and a death qualified lawyer (Lisa Dubb ?) may have gone to see EB. I am not sure if that has been verified yet though.

you are right and I was so wrong... I blew up the picture and there for sure is a 110 outlet in the picture (aussie is 240v)

With my visa application I had to attach a separate passport-style photo to the application itself as well as sending my passport. (birth cert, marriage cert, divorce decree, court records, etc.) It is a time consuming, expensive, invasive process.

I think, and its pure conjecture, that perhaps AB and EB were preparing applications for residency visas after they moved there. (USCIS frowns on this and has been known to deport folks for trying this route.) But it's one more theory to float...the electrical outlet shown leads me to believe this photo was indeed taken in America though.

I'm not so certain I believe they would attempt entry to the UK though through legitimate channels. Case in point - the British Consulate held off on approving our visas until they had court documentation stating I had permission to remove my children from the States. Without a UK sponsor or a legitimate reason for emigrating to the UK I just don't think they would have been given clearance here.

That's Amber? Oh my, major weight change on her just like her mother! Hummmm!

I believe that is Amber. EB was living with her Dad in May 2009. My guess is that the "passport" pics were taken at his house.
