Quick question?

Can LE confiscate a passport?

  • #342
Guys he may have been at the airport earlier, left with LE to go to the station, and been questioned for hours before being placed under arrest at 3am....

AB didn't have a passport (allegedly) so I don't think he was trying to go anywhere. We have had unsubstantiated and repeated reports the Baker family was on their way over. I just think it is more likely he was picking someone up rather than trying to flee.

Unless, they had been preparing ahead of time whether for this or something else they could have been afraid of coming their way and had another...as in I lost mine..or just a fake..I keep thinking about the 'passport pics'. It always struck me as odd that their passports were in the vehicle anyway..maybe they both thought that if LE thought they had their passports then AB and EB could slip away if needed...ALL speculation on my part..

IMO, what is confusing is when Adam was at the airport had to do with the way the media reported the arrest. Adam was booked after 3:00 AM EDT, but some media have him arrested at the airport around 3:00 AM EDT.

My thoughts are he picked up a relative for the last flight into the airport that landed around 11:50 PM EDT. The airport is about 30 miles from the police station. By the time they got the luggage, go through customs, and out of the airport, perhaps stopped for a bite to eat and then went to the police station with the arrest shortly there after, makes a little more sense to me.

This makes perfect sense Patty.

I just knew from the first ((redacted)) wsoc tweet I posted about the airport that he was there.

Now we have EB ferreted to the scene of the latest search.

This is a lot of shuffling btw the two (Adam and Elise) and it makes me want to puke.

Quit the dance already and tell LE what you both have done to your daughter......

The music will end at some point and the dance will have to stop. Wonder which one will be still standing (or somewhat)?

************i am disgusted to the point of puking**************

There are NO flights arriving OR departing from Charlotte Douglas Airport between midnight and 6 am.

http://airport-charlotte.com/Arrivals.cfm

You know, I remember now, just from my own experience. Some Airports are less staffed so the have no incoming or outgoing flights in the wee hours of the morning. I have traveled quite a bit and have sent my son on a few adventures. For instance LAX is 24/7 but Palm Springs shuts down at 1 00 AM Having traveled internationally after 911 it depends on the Airport. Still searching

http://www.flightstats.com/go/FlightStatus/flightStatusByAirport.do

Have to page backwards about 10 time to get the flights that arrived between midnight last night to 6:00am this morning at the Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, NC.

Here is a snag of what flights came in and there does appear to be a "blackout" from midnight to 6:00am.

ETA: What was AB doing there at 3:00am to pick somebody up at 6:00am at the earliest?

depends I s'pose on when the last flight relative could have been on, How big the airport, luggage claim, etc.

Any locals that could chime in? If you were meeting one of the last flight in - what time would you leave for airport, how long would it take to get person, bags etc?

also, if LE met him there while awaiting the relative, then asked him to come down and talk, drive to HQ, time for them to question/interview him.

I don't know, can locals help me out - would it be reasonable that he may not be booked til 3:12 AM?

ETA Did anyone notice or is there a way to find out if any of the potential relative flights were late on arrival last night?

I wish we could send in like 20 questions to be answered or something like that, lol..

I think that to tell the truth we cant really tell by the time he was arrested what he was doing at the airport...

For instance if he was there earlier to pick someone up from a late night flight and then he went to the police station (as has been mentioned) and they questioned him for hours 3.12am may be the time they arrested him after questioning..

If however they arrested him at the airport at 3.12 am....then yes that is a bit suss.

LE could've been on site and either escorted them or drove them back to Hickory themselves. That might explain the "arrested" at the airport reporting (when it may have been "escorted" or "taken into custody" vs. an actual arrest). I agree the likelihood is that he was picking someone up from one of the last flights of the night.

Did John on NG just say they are back at landfill again??

  • #359
NG talking to Dr. about Zahra's leg.

John Miller - searching the landfill again today - did not take anything when they left and will return tomorrow - not confirmed LE are coming back tomorrow.

Whatever the sequence of events, isn't it more than coincidental that LE arrests him now for the bad check when they've had weeks to do it? :waitasec: MOO
