I'm with Nancy! I didn't understand why they were focusing on a mattress either but if her body is inside it then that would make sense. They are saying as of now it is only a rumor.

True that it does mean that as well but here I would say it is more commonly used in relation to a child/teenager as a broody/brooding teenager. But to be honest it is not a word I hear often (I usually hear it when referring to woman) other aussies may have a different experience.

Yeah, not something you hear often. I reckon it was part of the "story" EB was feeding AB to report to the 911 operator.

The Reporter says the following things, in the video at this link, that seem important to me:

-The landfill LE had been searching, takes as many as 60 mattresses a day. So, LE knew there were many more still out there.

-He believes the mattress was located this morning in the landfill. It matched the "description" of Zahra's mattress.

-The tests have not come back yet, that would verify whether or not Zahra had ever slept on the new mattress.
