i'm sort of on the fence about AB, but my gut tells me he didn't know what was going on...just my opinions, but i stilll think that he and LE had agreed on a time for him to come in after he picked up his family so as to avoid the media...I still feel that they wanted him in there while EB was out,, perhaps for EB's safety, (who knows, maybe they were afraid he would go after her). As far as him not knowing, it really wouldn't be that hard, oh honey, don't bother her, she's sleeping, she's been sick etc...my hubby would go for that in a heartbeat, doesn't make him a bad dad, he would just want his kid to rest...if he did see her thursday, I'm assuming would be evening after work and then come home friday night,, EB says she's sick, then it would not be so far fetched for him to say the last time he saw her was thursday.

As for his emotions, I can relate to that, well not anymore but for a long time I could have, My son had bone cancer when he was 2 he went through chemo, radiation, surgery, you name it, when something like that happens to your child you learn really quick how control your emotions, you really have no choice,,you have to be almost invincible because the minute you stop you fall apart, i would guess he is still in that mode, it hasn't been that long..I can remember people saying to me, how can you talk about it so calmly, what they didn't realize was that if i started to be emotional about it I would be no good to anyone.

anywho, just wanted to throw that out there,, again, JMO

definitely looks like a stack of unused brown manilla envelopes to me
I see the shoe
the red thing not sure ...

I see the 4 now though finally - I was so looking in the wrong pane - thank you! :blushing:

The manila folders would make sense. That is what my hubby said they were putting evidence or items that might be evidence in when he was there earlier.

According to the locals that were there it is manila envelopes not wood

All of that is for collecting and marking evidence (they wouldn't just throw evidence into a container like that, each piece must be tagged and sealed to maintain the chain of evidence)

Sorry I did what I try to never do.... I posted a reply before finishing a thread. In my defense though....I thought I was caught up lol

Would anyone here happen to know if EB is in a single cell, or with the general population at the jail?

Also, it would seem to be a given, but I haven't read or heard anywhere if EB is on suicide watch.

Wait that may not be pink yarn ( large roll)

I can't remember the name of it it could be medical wrapping that went on the stump on her leg. If it had been bothering her or has a sore etc I wonder if they had to wrap it and that is the wraping. Idk just thinking aloud here

Here is what I found about wrapping the stump.

Care of the Stump

Whether you wrap with bandages or wear a shrinker sock, do daily exercises to prevent tightening of the muscles in the stump, which can prevent efficient use of your artificial leg. Remove and reapply bandages throughout the day, and massage the stump vigorously for 10 to 15 minutes between bandaging. Certain body positions are contraindicated during initial healing, such as crossing the stump over the opposite knee, hanging the stump off the side of the bed and sitting in a chair with the knee bent.

To those questioning the pink room - the house belongs to AB's employer who also has a daughter - it's possible this used to be her room or a prior tenants daughter, I don't believe this was painted (by A or E) with Zahra in mind.

LE cleared the house based on the knowledge at the time, (Saw this question somewhere without the answer - yes, dogs had been through the house way back when, according to the local news and CNN*).

The information LE had, has been up dated - bringing them back to a closed house. IMO the defense would not be able to prove the scene had been contaminated with MORE evidence - since LE confiscated whatever they removed last time.

Swabs and photos were taken earlier too (again CNN news and local news*)

I was called away shortly after the last thread started and had begun a reply to a comment now several hours old, but I'm going to post it here.

I think hair or fabric, but what is confusing me, it's only the one piece. If they went to the trouble of digging a hole and hiding that little bit........man, can you imagine what they did to hide Zarah?

IMO - The item they dug up looked like it may have been the remains of something, hair or possibly plastic/synthetic fiber melted by a chemical or by the fire.

Makes me think LE has reason to be looking in several places, in two (or is it three?) counties.

The look on the faces of those officers really hurt to see - reminded me of the Chief when he fought back tears to say the AMBER alert was cancelled...

GOD Bless Precious Zahra - anyone who could be responsible for the horror we are witnessing LE go through to ensure justice is handed down, surely did not deserve this beautiful child in their lives.

*************

A Prayer For Zahra

Hold her close Lord, it has been too long since Zahra has felt loving arms.

Heavenly choirs, sing a lullaby to this Angel tonight as she sleeps - without pain or fear - she is now safe from all harm.

Zahra you are free, although your time on Earth was brief, your loving ways and beautiful smile has touched us all.

Soar Zahra, fly with the all Angels in Heaven - your mission here is complete - fly beautiful spirit, fly away home.

That appears to have a cardboard center Could it be medical or other type tape, thread or ribbon?
I thought it was Yarn or something like that but then I got to thinking and I bet it is medical wrap for her leg.

Thanks for posting the link kalekona - Gotta say, the luminol glow pic (#75) was incredibly haunting (for lack of a better word to describe my reaction to it). Thank you SH's for the great job (above and beyond the call of duty) taking these pictures and posting them for us to see. Just wow... and bless your heart!

No problem, happy to help.

Those may be the most haunting photo's I've seen.

There is a sports product referred to by various names - 'underwrap', 'foam tape', etc., but it is used for medical applications as well. Since it is designed to prevent friction pain from sports equipment rubbing on skin, seems like it might be applicable to protheses too. JMO-checking it out...

My daughter had some for an ankle problem once--here's a pic of one brand:

P.S. I copied off you smart kids who said medical bandages, it rang a bell about the brightly colored stuff above that my daughter had...

Since it appears to be just tossed into the plastic container I wouldn't think it was evidence? Wouldn't they need to paperbag it instead of letting it sit in that plastic container with other items? (cross contamination?).

Looks like that kind of string I use to tie boxes, but it's hot pink. JMHO.

BBM: I completely agree.
On a more positive note...when I see these LE officers and CS technician's doing "what they do", it warms my heart to know that this precious little girl WILL NOT simply be tossed away and forgotten; that there are people who care enough to search for the truth and seek justice on her behalf!
