Valhall has just posted some photos from Zahra's mother showing two adorable photos of Zahra as a baby and a child.

Biomum has allowed me to share two of the most precious pictures of Zahra as a baby. Here she is in 2000 as a bucket full of happy beautiful baby!

I didn't know Zahra had a sister. I imagine she would have loved to have a sister to play with and grow up around. Bless that family.

If that were the case, why didn't he protect his daughter and leave? If his family could afford a ticket here from Australia certainly they could've brought him and Zahra back there. MOO

I would ask the question, did he ever want to leave, had he ever contacted anyone including his own or EB's family or even the Aust. Consulate about leaving?

You are assuming his family had the money to hop to the US in a minute without considering they may have borrowed money to get to the US.

OT but does this look like blood to anyone else besides me?

Zahra102810040-blood2.jpg

Sure I can see that BUT IMHO with it being so visible, I pretty much trust that LE would not wad evidence up like that IF it were blood. As much as it looks like blood it also looks like FRESH blood and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't still be so red. JMO............

Yes, sure does! But it also looks like it could be a plastic dropcloth like you'd use when painting. So could just be paint or staining liquid. I tend to think that would be the more likely case since it's just tossed out on the porch like that instead of being bagged to prevent contamination.

Thank you SO much for all your efforts!

Thanks and that's exactly what I thought BUT suppose they found the body or pieces of it...would it stand to chance they put some of it out on this plastic sheet while examining?

I keep thinking up theories of how she could still be alive and maybe AB came up with some plan to get EB locked up and somehow escape somewhere with his daughter once it all blew over.

I crash back to reality when I think back to the house being torn apart and the land being dug up. She just has to be dead, but I dont want to believe it until its confirmed :(

Yes....it does!! How are you feeling now? It hit me yesterday like a punch in the gut. I cried and cried. I felt drained and hollowed but it was good to get it out, ya know!

Pete said he talked to that CNN guy as well but he must have thought you were prettier b/c he didn't tell him half of that :) :woohoo:

I thought that we were under the impression that there was a falling out between AB and his family and that they hadn't had contact since he left AU? One thing that is interesting is that AB did have that FB account prior to Zahra going missing and that he added someone who is friends with his family back in August. But it doesn't appear as though he was ever friends with EB on there because I can't see anywhere on her wall where she added him. I wonder if he was communicating with people in AU on there and EB didn't know about it or even that he had a FB? :waitasec:

This is a good point and surely a possibility.

Sherlockhomey-

Yes, it does look like blood.

BUT, if it was blood, LE would not have left it on the porch like that. imo

Thank you for taking the time to get the photos and information to us.

Here is another photo in relation to the other things on the porch.

UPDATE ON VERIFIED POSTERS

These posters have been verified as much as they can be:

Sherlock Homey
NCMOM

And as far as ValHall and the "Hinky Meter" I trust Valhall. Valhall verifies like I do. It can't be 100 percent perfect but if Valhall feels she is talking to the bio mom then I believe her. The Hinky Meter is a good friend of Websleuths :)

Again a big thanks to our new locals who are posting and thank you to our long time members who keep the cases alive on Websleuths.

I highly doubt that they did. And unless AB had taken one out on her prior to her bouts with cancer, I'm not even sure she would be insurable (or if she were, it might be very expensive). I don't know how that would work with children. Do we have any insurance folks here that could help?

Just grabbing your post, Sherbie. Not really meant to be directed at you. This is for all the folks who consider that she didn't go to doctors because they lacked coverage.

It wouldn't matter if she had insurance, or Medicaid, or whatever. Ok, I'm not a medical professional, but, I deal with them on a daily basis and have for years. In my experience, the medical community in NC does not let children suffer and die just because their parents are morons (in the case of little Z). She would have received treatment if they had taken her to a doctor.

Even if AB took her to a doctor and told them the truth (as I believe it, not as it may actually be), I imagine it would go something like this:

AB: My 10 year old daughter has bone cancer and lung cancer, and she has outgrown her prosthetic leg. We are here illegally after I tore my child from her family and homeland and took her across the world to live in virtual poverty with a gothic fairy I met in a video game, and we cannot get insurance or benefits.

Doctor's office: Bring her right in

I must have missed something here, who is the person that saw Zahra on Oct. 7th?

BS one of Eb's Daughters supposedly told a neighbor that she saw Zahra on thursday before the 911 call.

Oh my... my heart is breaking right now for BioMum. I looked at the pics and read her story...

What this woman is going through - has gone through - is a nightmare. The ups/downs. Finding Zahra - finally! - only to find out she's missing, yet not really understanding what her friend was telling her b/c she had just found her so she kept trying to tell her friend that she's not missing, she's found. Then she googled her name and read about it... What a godawful thing to go through.

(I have to believe that it's no coincidence that she went missing at this point in time. I might would believe she were alive, if LE hadn't turned it into a homicide investigation. They wouldn't do that for no reason - if they thought there was any chance of her being alive, they would put out bulletins, kept the Amber Alert up, told everyone to find her ASAP, etc. To stop searching for a live child is a HUGE step. They have a reason.)

:praying: Am lifting up prayers to Zahra's mum. :( I can't even imagine the pain. :(

How come no one is saying EB found out about biomom and freaked out, wanted no part of her, refused to allow AB any contact and to make sure that didn't happen, she murders Z and then uses the ransom note to try to convince AB that biomom or someone connected to biomom kidnapped Z. Just a thought.

Just my own :twocents:..but I don't think it's that Tricia doesn't consider Val a reliable source...not in the least. More that since she is responsible for THIS site personally..she wants to hear it from the horses mouth before we take off and run with it..Kind of like we are when another poster that we consider reliable states something of major importance and we believe them, but want to hear it for ourselves. I believe they'll work something out...

Or perhaps because AB knows she removes her leg nightly and she could possibly need help when she puts it on - or if she was kidnapped from her bed, what kidnapper would give her time to put it on?

Also we would need to know if Z usually went about without her hearing aids at home. Z did report that she could hear without them inserted but can hear much better with them in. If EB was a loud person, maybe Z didn't put the hearing aids in all the time.

Same with the leg, I could imagine Z would be able to hop around on one leg pretty easy and would probably use the prosthetic when they went out or when she planned to be on her feet for a long time.

My thoughts on the prosthetic is she probably would have it on if Z knew she were going to leave the house.
