Well I cannot sit on my fingers any longer. I want to say in my mind I don't think the Biomom's should feel any responsibility by contacting KB through a friend. How could the biomom know that EB was that evil. My gosh...I'm crying and I still feel bad that my exuberant outburst caused such a stir.

Oh, honey...no one is blaming bio-mom for Zahra's death. She didn't do anything to cause it. No one is responsible for that except those who perpetrated the evil. And I love that you want to hope for the best for Zahra...you are so sweet!

How come no one is saying EB found out about biomom and freaked out, wanted no part of her, refused to allow AB any contact and to make sure that didn't happen, she murders Z and then uses the ransom note to try to convince AB that biomom or someone connected to biomom kidnapped Z. Just a thought.

We're probably leaving that one for his defense attorney :) I guess his supporters would think that, but it doesn't explain why he talked about Zahra in the past tense from day 1.

I really doubt it. Even if they were trying some kind of scam like that (which was tried in the UK not long ago by another family) they were really stupid about it!

So good to see you over here!

I agree with you -- all we have to do is look toward the ransom note to gauge the brilliance.

Is it possible that KB felt bad and somehow got a message to ZB about her mum trying to contact her??? Maybe after that she started saying she wanted to go back to Aus to be with Mummy and ZB or AB cracked it and accidentally killed her.

I think this new information about Biomom adds another dimension to this case. Many more possibilities are swimming in my head now!!:waitasec:
I hope Zahra's mom feels comfortable enough to come post with us!

Oh, I agree completely, Ada...thank you for the reply! I was actually referring to life insurance (someone had asked if there might have been life ins. on little Zahra).

So sorry for the confusion, but I do agree wholeheartedly that there is NO way Zahra would have been turned away for treatment had anyone cared enough to seek it on her behalf.

Yea I saw that you were talking about life insurance. I edited my post to reflect that a little better.

It's just that I lurk here at work but can't post from there. So I have all these things I want to say but can't! I try to drop them in where I can, but, it's often out of sequence in these fast moving threads. So I grab a post that is sort of related (like yours) or just reminds me of what I wanted to say.

I didn't know Zahra had a sister. I imagine she would have loved to have a sister to play with and grow up around. Bless that family.

I think she had a sister with the Mother she never knew.

Tricia runs a tight ship, and she should.

I have done my best to vet biomum. I appreciate Tricia's kind words and understand that because I have committed not to pass anything biomum has not agreed to have passed kind of hampers the vetting process. I would think that Tricia should not act any other way.

I appreciate all that the WS people do here. That's why it's the only place I post on these issues other than my own blog.

Let's just pray Zahra is found...in some fashion. So she can be respectfully memorialized and all the people who have loved her (including us new ones) can have some resolution in this hideous situation, and so justice can be served in the mistreatment she endured.

Zahra was a champion...death cannot defeat her.

bbm~

AMEN!

btw~You Rock Val!

I like the theories about Z being alive due to bio mom finding her, but with all due respect, highly unlikely.

No one is going to spend their time in jail, be accused of murder nation wide and set up a horrendous crime scene to keep the child from her bio mom.

I wouldnt think so either, and sadly, I dont believe this is the case here either. HOWEVER, those very thoughts have crossed my mind in another case....Where is Gabriel Johnson?

To think that this may have happened to keep precious Zahra from her mum is just unthinkable! If this is the motive, how did they get the passport? I'm sure this was probably discussed before, but doesn't Australia require the non-custodial bio-parent to approve their child to leave the county? Was the paperwork forged?

My bet forged.

mmmm biomum found them in USA - passports in the car - $10000 cash from unknown male - planning on moving country again???? Did ZB object to moving for the 6th time? Or did she maybe jump from the moving car and die around the same spot they found her leg? So many theories here

Kimster, that *appears* to be the case. So many questions..and every time we get some answers it seems the answers lead us to many more questions..<sigh>

Things could get a little sticky on here soon.

I'm sure it's nothing that Tricia and her fine team haven't dealt with before but I just want to bring it to peoples attention.

Calm heads are going to be needed to prevail.

What truely amazes me is how happy she looked in the footage that has been publicized on national tv. This cute girl has/had been through so much and to be so upbeat in all if the pics and video is just truely amazing to me. Again, another case that validates my belief that anyone can have a child (amazed how sometimes the sperm is able to find the egg in the first place) but to raise a child should be a priviledge. Accordingly, anyone and everyone should have to have a license to raise a child. This crap is just sickening and so darn frustrating. I have a 5 year old child that is absolutely gorgeous (inside and outside) and my husband and I have people constantly coming up to us making reference to our child and I panic......because all of the insanity of the world. Not just anyone should be able to have and/or raise a child. PERIOD.

Not sure if this video has been linked.... wsoctv channel 9 broadcast. Can anyone tell what was picked up and put in the evidence bag about @ the 142 mark??

http://www.wsoctv.com/video/25558914/index.html

2:02? That's the end of the video, isn't it? :waitasec:

One thing is clear from that video - the police told the reporter they were looking for "body" even before this new excavation started.

Of course now I'm wondering if Zahra knew in her final days that her bio-mum was looking for her..maybe thinking that there was light at the end of her little tunnel. :(..how incredibly sad..

Perhaps EB was scared of Biomom because she had been so cruel to Zahra and murdered her and concocted the kidnapping story.

If Zahra had told the state what EB had done to her, she would have gone to jail. Who better to tell than her real mother? EB was walking a tightrope with all the bad checks.
