I am aware of many "no body" cases but they are not usually considered "airtight"; they are usually circumstantial cases and it is hoped that the jury sees the logical conclusions. I guess I just have issue with the word "airtight" as that implies more of a physical evidence kind of thing. To me, anyway.

Not knowing why they are convinced Zahra is in fact dead it is very hard to know if they will have an "airtight" case or another kind.

I see what you mean. I dont know if you have followed enough of these to be aware that almost all cases are circumstantial. dna evidence is circumstantial, as one example. this is vs direct evidence such as a confession or a witness (whose testimonies are notoriously unreliable, and as an aside, I actually typoed "witness" as "witless", I am so wrong LOL)

I dont know if that reassures you at all, because in the physical evidence sense, it would all be circumstantial - and they have very good tests these days to show decompositional events. dogs are just one thing that can indicate it. are you familiar with caylee anthony? if not you might like to look into the tests the body farm was doing on CA's car in the early days.


although I am with you, I think, in that it makes me very curious why they dont appear to be looking for a body in this case...

That doesn't look like drywall or any type of board to me. Looks like paneling as you can see the beveled edge that lines up with the next panel in the picture. But... MOG. lol

I think someone who knows all the FACTs if they could now post what we do know for fact so far on the case, with the date of each. Maybe we can go back and rethink things.

OK THIS IS MY DUH MOMENT OF THE HOUR!! Just realised there was a pic sorry. Thata a waterproof board put behind tubs sinks etc. The dark area is just where it hasnt been mudded. It normally would be painted at this point or a shower stall put over top of it. HTH

If you were flushing a drain, would that have to come out?

I hope not. I remember the case where the guy put his wife in one and all they found was one tooth. I dont know how LE could handle them not finding her / knowing that. Poor guys.

thank you for saying that. i think far too many people think if the wood-chipper was used there would be a lot of "gore" but that simply doesn't have to be the case and i've tried to explain that in the past.

Just an emotional reminder of what Zahra experienced getting her hearing Aides.

Then since Rob Zombie has sort of gotten a bad rap during this case- at least he has become part of the disturbing ideas-- the video after MM is Rob also pitching in at the Haunted House of the Oregon School for the deaf. For Extreme Home Makeover--

If this case hasn't brought me enough tears this entire story and all videos released so far has me tearing up but in a much different way.

I encourage everyone to take a few Minutes Halloween night and watch the show and see miracles take place.

My daughter went to the Washington School for the deaf- about an hour away from OSD but the two schools share a lot- including the ever present threat of closure because of funding and lower enrollment.

This is the community that would have loved to have included Zahra and she would have fit right in..

(ok I have to go cry for a few- I'm not a sappy person but this kind of stuff does me in-it's close to home and heart and it is what drew me into this case.)

IF AB disposed of the body, I would think he would have some guilt and bury her near that CHURCH!

When I feel guilty I dont go near a chruch. At least when I was a kid . My god and doom childhood had me scared to death.

He might of I could picture him feeling bad and wanting Zahra to forgive him and be at peace in a chruch yard. At least it is a better thought.

Thank you for this... It looks like a great episode and I, for one, think Rob Zombie is a genius.

I wouldn't think "gore" but certainly forensic evidence once torn down and broken apart. I was thinking more along the lines of what would be left behind, around the general area where the event took place, as well as forensics 'transfer' style. And she would STILL have to have been dismembered before entering the chipper, to some degree, I would think?

Zahra did not go through the wood chipper. LE already confirmed that to be the case, and I feel very comfortable saying that is truth. I've gone over repeatedly reasons for why I am so sure. Search by my username if you want to read up on it.

That is not to say the woodchipper wasn't used in some fashion for other purposes, but it was NOT to hide her body. It's no secret that they have been checking mulch piles all over.

Please, can we put the whole body through the wood chipper thing to rest.

Does anyone recall if the wood splitter was ever mentioned by LE? I remember seeing it mentioned somewhere early on, but never really heard anything else about it. Was it taken from the property during the initial search?

so they took paint brushes and in our HomeTown sleuther's pictures we saw that cheap plastic tarp used for painting with red stain of sorts on it. Now looking that the luminol picture again and thinking that EB/AB painted that room to cover up blood, could while painting spread some blood even if they wiped the blood off there is still traces right. Is this what I see in the picture from sherlockhomey's pictures down at the bottom a different color and at the top. I would love to but No we can't. I saw where a dog handler gave his opinion. I have yet to see where it came directly from LE. They are sure going through alot of mulch for some reason.
