Zahra received child support payments from her bio-mum. Apparently these payments even followed them to the US.

We have this only on the information of the alleged birth mother, via HM, do we not? I'm unaware of it in other sources.

I know this has been talked about before, but I can't leave it lay.
What profit did EB see in bringing Zahra to America?
There had to be a perceived high payoff in it for her,or else Zahra would have been left in Australia..
she had to get AB to fight his mother to take the child.
They had to go through getting all the paperwork(legaly or not)
EB had to have a "plan"

i was just reading through the charges and criminal records of EB under various aliases. On the part1 of the links kindly provided @ the beginning of the last thread. In 1998 and 2000 - she was accused of simple assault. In 2001 she was charged with Forgery. In 2001 she was charged with altering (?) a card or tab and resisting a public officer.

He would fight for her then and wouldn't fight for her when she was being abused?:furious::censored: Then what happened between then and now to turn him into a cringing puppy?
Yee Gads... If I were closer I'd be wandering the back roads in my powerchair looking for clues..
I guess this has got to me more because I went through chemo about a year ago and I know how sick and scared I was..

So sorry you have had a rough time:hug:

To answer your question.......drugs. It changes people. Once addicted they may steal, cheat, lie and even kill, because of drugs. :furious:

It is so hard to keep up with these threads. They are flying by - and I thought Kyron's original threads moved fast!

This case is so frustrating to me because it's clear that AB and/or EB know far more than they are telling. To what end, I don't know. At this point, it's evident that they will go to trial for the murder of Zahra, whether LE finds her body or not. For them to call it a homicide investigation so early into the case indicates they have strong evidence of her death. The jig is up - why not tell them where her body is already?

I can't imagine being AB's family - I know netsleuther is here seeing all the gory speculation, poor thing - I can't imaging the dawning realization that AB is probably complicit in Zahra's death. For AB's side and for Biomum, too. This case just breaks my heart. I'm hoping they find Zahra soon, because there are so many relatives of hers who need closure. The stress of it all must be terrible. I hope someone's counseling AB to just tell LE everything he knows - EB seems to be a lost cause, but one would hope AB had some shred of compassion for that little girl. She doesn't deserve to be out there for so long like this. :frown:

Oriah, have you tried contacting reporter Jennifer Moxley to see what she might be able to share? She covered the event and has posted recently on another site, where she left a heartfelt message for Zahra and a promise to keep following her case and help bring her justice.

Trying to get caught up still, but this is just what I was going to suggest!

Slightly O/T, but I find it pathetic that I am already thinking how much time it's going to take me to catch up after I've taken my kids trick-or-treating tonight lol!

Along the same lines, wouldn't it also make sense that with gas poured inside the vehicle that if AB got inside and lit a cigarette it would go up in flames? In other words, unless EB wanted him dead or severely burned, wouldn't he have had to know about it? :waitasec: MOO

My thoughts on the gas being in the "company vehicle" : they intended to torch the vehicle, then abandoned that idea because they needed to attach the ransom note to something that would obviously lead LE back to the "Coffey was the target" story. Not torching the vehicle as originally intended is the reason LE was able to obtain blood evidence from the dash...big mistake. And that goes to my belief that AB and EB are almost childlike in the way they are ruled by impulse...they simply don't think anything through. Make a decision, take an action, hope it works out. If not, worry about that later.

correct

I've seen enough to convince me that this is the case. This is all new information to me, though...so I'm not sure how to fit the info into the pieces I already know or suspect.

So going with this new (to me) info, here's what I would ask: do we know where this redheaded, pot smoking son is currently? I'm sure LE knows, but do WE have any idea?

NOPE we do not. And we are not allowed to sleuth him per terms of service even if we did know his name and I AM NOT suggesting we find out - just to be clear.

HEARING AIDs

I thought them being still in the house was an oversight. It was reported they were found in the hall. No clue if they were on a hall (telephone) table or on the floor or where exactly in the hall. My own suspicion is that they were "forgotten" in the panic and were meant to have been disposed of along with Z and her leg.

If they were found on the floor, my guess would be they were actually in Z's ears and fell out at the time she was removed from home.

Without knowing where in the hall they were located makes it a bit hard for me to specualte why they were there.

BBM I couldn't agree with you more, Tlcox. I think her leg was also an "oh crap!" moment for them, and so that was a last minute ditch. The hearing aids were much smaller, much easier to miss, and that's why they were found in the house. JMO.

Was EB or ? actually planning to abduct the bosses daughter? Could that have been a REAL plan initially?

  • #171
my thinking as well. Which would fall into place with my theory that she lived in that home, and that she died, however the means and at whoevers hand, within the week prior to her reported being "kidnapped by mistake".

I agree, dousing it with gasoline appears like they were going to set it on fire but for some reason decided against it. It could also be by just pouring gas inside it they thought they'd destroy any forensic evidence inside. MOO

Do we know the type/brand/model of hearing aids she had? I'm more interested in any box type gadget that runs the wires to the earpieces. The size of it. Or were they wireless types? I seem to recall in the vid there were cords but perhaps that was just for testing? I'm hearing aid stupid.

The cords!!! okay....kids hearing aides come with a harness that's optional to use. It clips onto the back of their clothes and attaches to the actual aide that goes behind the ear, just as one attaches glasses to to a cord worn around the neck. If the aide falls out or the child pulls them out ,they won't get lost because they remain attached to the harness. Not sure if that's what you saw ,but maybe.

these links might help.
Maybe Zahra had the type that was ONLY USED IN SCHOOL. I believe there is a microphone hooked to the teacher.
If that's the case, then she wouldn't have them on outside of school. It would be like stufing cotton in your ears.

Accessories for school children

Miniature multi-frequency FM receivers and transmitters
The time in school is critical to your child’s future development. FM systems in the school environment ensure that your child hears the teacher’s voice directly and clearly. With an FM system the major obstacles of distance, echo and noise are reduced and your child can enjoy learning and playing to the full extent.

Being able to communicate well on the telephone is essential in today’s world. Hearing instruments with FM capability allow young wearers to communicate effectively by phone.

Television can be a positive source of learning and entertainment. However, understanding can be difficult for hearing impaired children due to poor sound quality and background noise. With FM, children can enjoy watching television thanks to the direct transmission of the sound to the hearing instrument. The television volume for other viewers can stay at the normal level.

Receiver for (near to) normal hearing users
iSense is Phonak’s new family of miniaturized wireless products for children and adults who do not use traditional hearing instruments but who can easily benefit from an improved listening link. These users include those individuals who suffer from central auditory processing disorder (APD), slight hearing loss, unilateral hearing loss, autism, attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder (ADHD) and also second language learners.

I wonder if Zahra had a habit of when she took off her leg she placed the hearing aides inside the leg. The leg was picked up and it fell out.

(I know this is going in a very off the wall direction, but bear with me)... only LE, Coffey, and friends of Coffey's family would know if the son couldn't be located, correct? WE wouldn't know one way or the other. So, if we were trying to figure out what happened to an allegedly missing vehicle, or why cadaver dogs hit on 2 different vehicles at the residence, we COULD be missing a very large piece to the puzzle, no?

Just for the record, let me add that I have absolutely no interest in sleuthing the son, or Coffey. But I would find it very relevent information to know that the son has been account for, kwim?

tyvm MissJames. very good info on hearing aids.

I think tomorrow the Grand Jury will only hear EB's charges to date. We will not hear additional charges tomorrow. Just a hunch by how LE has been going out of their way to leave no stone unturned. They still have to get results back from the lab. If they charge her now, without lab results back that would not be good for the DA.

True, but why pour the gas and NOT just go ahead and torch the whole vehicle? You already plan on setting a mulch fire, so what's the difference? Much more likely a fire would destroy all evidence than just the gas, so why not go the extra step? Only thing I can think of is the ransom note. Can't burn the note, otherwise the entire story falls apart.

Perhaps she went to the gas station to fill up a gas can and it spilled inside the vehicle.

Each state has different homeschooling laws. Most states allow parents to choose their own materials and have only very basic regulations. It's parents rights to choose for their children.
In general you will find most homeschoolers are highly socialized and participate in many extra curricular activities with others. It's the abusers who give it a bad name IMO. But I digress.........:blushing:

PS The most highly acclaimed colleges are actually seeking out homeschoolers,as they are finding them more enthusiastic and better prepared for college ,in general.:innocent:

There is nothing wrong with homeschooling unless they are not being schooled at all...

There is certain paperwork and assignments you need to submit to your school board so they can make sure your child is meeting requirements.
You cant just say im homeschooling my child and not have to prove it
it must be documented. And the child must hand in the necessary tests and assignments. Zahra slipped thru the cracks again! JMO
