Control. EB wanted 100% control.

I've gone round and round with this thought, myself. And I keep coming back to the furniture store clerk. I have to think she would have noticed a severe illness, she certainly seemed observant about everything else.

Also there was no mention of Z having difficulty with her leg hmmmmmmm.

So we are left with 2 weeks for Z to become ill and die from the illness, or she was killed, or and I know I am dreaming she has been taken.

Illnesses that would fit ...... ruptured appendix? can be quick onset for example:twocents:

Sounds like they tried to burn the leg, but the whole thing wouldn't burn, so they took it & disposed of it. When authorities found the leg & saw it was burned, they went back to the house.

My thoughts exactly! I also don't think it was just thrown out the window of a vehicle willy-nilly, since it appeared to have been under/in the brush pile.

I do have to wonder why EB would dispose of the prosthetic leg so close to where she used to live. Doesn't this implicate the heck out of her?
I can't decide if these people are idiots or geniuses!

Kiki, do explain about melatonin and ADHD....

I wonder what the burn samples were...

Violet- NO financial incentive to homeschool that I know of. In fact, curriculum costs money. Most of it is NOT cheap.

Fyrecat, you are exactly right .

Ok, I definitely need to learn to quote.

Maybe this has already been answered but is there any financial incentive to homeschool?

Also, maybe saying that she would homeschool was a knee jerk reaction, in anger, about visits/inquiries from the school principal and DSS?

Maybe, but removing her from school isn't going to stop DSS from coming. In fact, that would draw more red flags. There's some reason they COULDN'T send Zahra to school, imo. I just can't figure out what that reason might be.

That's true-however Sepsis can kill in a short period of time, The furniture store woman saw Zahra Sept. 25th and she was reported missing oct. 9th.
That's 2 weeks from when she was reported missing.
Sepsis can strike, kill shockingly fast

Brazilian model Mariana Bridi da Costa was a healthy 20-year-old when doctors told her she had a urinary tract infection, her family says. The infection spread, and after amputating her feet, doctors thought they had the situation under control, according to a blog run by a family friend.

"She's alive, [she] will survive," Renato Lindgren wrote on the blog on January 20, before da Costa also had to have her hands amputated, and part of her stomach and both kidneys extracted. "She can eat well, visit the sea, swim, travel, talk with her friends and family, marry and have a baby. She has a full and beautiful life ahead."

Four days later, da Costa was dead.
Sepsis -- the body's inflammatory response to an infection -- really can kill that quickly, according to Dr. Kevin Tracey, author of a book about sepsis called "Fatal Sequence: The Killer Within

She lived in so many places she probably don't remember them all.

Personally i dont believe she died of an illness. Only illness she had was stemommaitis. JMO

Also, not having Zhara in school could just indicate permissive neglectful parenting. It takes effort and money for school supplies, etc... It may have just been emotionally and mentally easier to keep her at home. I bet Z tried to keep out of EB's hair anyway.

The Tahoe was doused with gas on the inside. So I doubt burn material was taken from the brush pile and placed inside rather, they tried to burn the inside of the Tahoe as well. IMO

I was explaining yesterday how this same scenario happened to a women who had been murdered. The perp doused the inside of her car with gas and lit it but he didn't leave a window open. The fire flashed but was robbed of oxygen and quickly went out. LE found it just like the Tahoe was found. Stinking of gas with small amounts of burn material inside. Fire needs oxygen to burn and it uses it up very fast inside of a closed up vehicle.

I think they took out whatever they where trying to burn, tossed in the note and left the door open so it would be found. And it was, stinking of gas with burn material.

OT Thanks Punk, tried that, no use. I'll be ok once I return to my doc visit in 2 months. They just have to adjust my meds then the insomnia goes away.

If Zahra had gone to school this year, what would her first day of attendance have been?

(PS--while we wait for news from the hearing or the search, let's update tags!)

Hi Rose,

Most schools will give a child supplies if they cant afford them we have many places here in florida that give out free backpacks pencils paper crayons to any child also buses are provided for them to get there free breakfast and lunches are provided if you cant afford to buy or provide lunch. So there is really no excuse for a child to not be in school except LAZY parents!!!1 JMO

That is a very good conclusion. I also noticed the lack of metal dectors. So if they were looking for pieces of the prosthetic would they need to consult a prosthetic specailist to be able to determine what exactly they were looking for?

I really can't answer that but It's MHO that if anything remotely resembling pieces of the prosthesis were found in the backyard, LE would be making damn sure that it matched perfectly to the prosthesis itself before taking it any further.

Seems to me that having Zahra in school, around the neighbours and...well just having Zahra around altogether was drawing a lot of unwanted attention in EB's direction.

MOO

Agreed. But having her missing would draw much more attention, so it's pretty clear to me that whatever happened to Zahra wasn't planned. If this is a case of habitual abuse that progressed to the point of fatal injury, then what would prompt AB to help in the cleanup (and I do believe that he did)? Much easier to just lay the whole thing at the abusers feet. If other crimes were being comitted, in addition to physical abuse, and AB took part in those crimes, I would think it more likely for him to have some incentive to get rid of evidence. If Zahra had merely been ill, and died as a result of that illness, why wouldn't AB and EB just come forward with that, instead of leap right to clean up? The charges for that would have been much less than the charges she's currently facing, and whatever ones he might or might not be facing.

I hope the focus was on finding Zahra hasnt diminished. I am glad the investigators are pressed to find enough evidence to ensure a conviction, I just wish they would give a press release that would let us know the situation with finding Zahra herself. Like do they have areas of interest? Or are they at a impass with reguards to leads on this area of the case? Do they plan on( at this stage) a no body trial or are fairly confident they will be able to locate Zahra?

I have heard they were looking for a mattress, and evidence and this and that but I havent heard they are looking for Zahra.
I know they are of course but I want to hear them say it.
