The step-mother reported the last time she saw the child was Oct. 9 early morning hours. The police were having a difficult time narrowing down when was the last time any one else had seen Zahra. The little girl was being homeschooled and many family and friends reported it had been actually over a week they last saw the little girl. The leg of the little girl has recently been found and human blood was found in both of the parents vehicles.

OK, so I don't know how to BBM but this is the first time I have seen when other family members might have seen her and the first time I have seen that there was blood in both cars. Are either of these statements true?

I made home visits and even accompanied social workers to homes to proctor end of grade testing for home schooled students when I worked in the school system. Of course, the parents were notified in advance of the testing dates, so there was time to stop any abuse and allow for healing before the actual event.

I worked with Behaviorally/Emotionally disturbed children so they received special services due to their diagnosis. We would make an unannounced home visit during every nine weeks grading period....but all school systems in NC are not alike and I don't know the criteria for other counties.

anyway, by the time this I finish this post, a new thread will have started and this topic will be 'old'. LOL!

If you knew they were going to do this (stop any abuse and allow for healing before the actual event) wouldnt it make sense to go there unannounced, thats like going through the motions just to appease the system, thats where the system has failed, if we know something then lets do something about it here and now, this could and probably would have saved this precious child.

Without going all the way back thru the media timeline, I do believe it was:
Baker house (chipper)--> woodlot(other chipper)-->house(mattress)--> landfill(mattress2)-->Dudley Shoals-->Christie Rd(leg)--> house&yard&underhouse&underyard.

MOO, This tells me that the leg told them something else may have been at the house. Maybe blood, pieces missing, maybe partially cut up like it had been through a woodchipper. Speculation only of course.

For those people who are following this case, and are interested in some previously unreported things in the MSM, you should check it out here.

Jennifer Moxley, a reporter who covered Zahra getting her hearing aids in the spring, is going to break the story open.

She seems to have alot of integrity, and should shed some light on a few things.

She is definitely most interested in the victim's best interest.

No one is saying anything against HS we just wanted some info on how and who the parents ans to.
If EB told the school Zahra was being homeschooled there should have been someone there to see that she had been enrolled in HS. Not just take a parents word for it but see that its followed thru. JMO

That all depends on state law. I don't know what the laws are in NC, but in MI there are no homeschooling guidelines at all except for if you send them to PS and then pull them out, you have to send a letter to the school board. (You do not have to notify anyone if they never attend PS) There is no standard testing and nobody checking up on the child or the progress they make.

Not too sure how good a source this one is....

I was referring to prescheduled testing dates in which the parents were notified in advance that representatives would be visiting the home to conduct the testing process. We did make unannounced visits to the home as well. My apologies if my post was vague.

WOW to me that says a child can drop off the face of the earth! Whos to say the parent is really teaching the child and i could give my child straight A's
right? Whos to know

Where is Ray when you need him? :-/

:banghead: I was just going to ask nurse to give him a nudge!

And Wondergirl, thank you so much for sharing that. Looks like Jennifer is taking seriously her connection and promise to Zahra!

I am at a loss as to how they were able to get EB to confess to the ransom note, but nothing else. She confesses to that and shuts up? Why even admit to that? I just don't get how they can get her to own up to the fake ransom note, but nothing else.

:waitasec:
Maybe prior to getting busted for the ransom note she truly thought her own stories were believable... and then reality came along and slapped her upside the head.

I wonder how many people ever questioned her crazy stories - they were so far-fetched - who would put forth the energy when you know its all lies upon lies? I, for one, would not.

So playing devil's advocate here, how can EB explain the leg being found is Zahra's and it was found in an area that she was cooperating by going to with LE? Coupled with the fake ransome note I am thinking this one is gonna be hard for defense to explain its way out of, particularly when by the time she cooperated on search efforts on Dudley Shoals and Crhisty Roads she HAD an attorney?

Sorry, it is the large grey one laid out on the lawn.

JMHO It looks way too big to be a shower curtain. I was trying to visually straighten it out and it looks to me like it would be several feet longer than either man in the pic is tall. It could possibly be a king sized sheet, Id say my best guess would be a drop cloth painters use. The color seems consistant with the ones my husband uses too. HTH.
