sarx and I spoke about this and he/she says it's very normal that LE would keep it. I don't know if it means anything or not but after reading EB's new letters I'm not so sure anymore. Once again the woodchipper comes back into my mind. I mean if EB says that LE knows where she's at then um why haven't they gone and got her yet? Again LE's words haunt my mind. "Pieces of evidence"

I don't know if EB is trying to pin this on AB (per her letters) but I will say that if that child was missing for more than 24 hours then AB KNEW exactly what happened and may have disposed of his own daughter.

BUT I have one question in the very back of my mind ... Did she (EB) live in that house on a full time basis? It bothers me that she didn't even know her own address in that 911 call. Also is there another address used in her booking info? All MOO and all that jazzmataz.

Great question. I've always wondered about the pillows, blankets, 2 toothbrushes, etc. in the company car (?)...even pondered that perhaps AB and Z had been sleeping in the car for one reason or another, but quickly dismissed the idea as pretty off the wall. This was a company vehicle afterall. Anyway, I don't know the answer to your question, but at least 2 of us have at one time wondered whether both EB and AB were living under the same roof fulltime.

My personal feeling about EB not knowing her address can be put down to 2 things quite easily, 1). they had only been living in the house for a few month and she moved ALOT, 2). EB is childish enough not have bothered to familiarize herself with the address in a timely fashion.

ALL MOO

Why wouldn't Eric Gein have 'bled this turnip' for as long as he could? It could have been a real cash cow for him to continue with these letters as long as possible, at least until her lawyer's discovered and put a stop to it. But then, maybe they did.

I guess I am more bothered by the fact that people want to pay extra for something written by, made by, or belonging to a murderer, as if the person were a celebrity. That's paying for the glamor factor, rather than simply the information contained in something like a true crime book.

JMO

I agree, I find it creepy at a minimum that anyone would want it.
But I don't have the celebrity worship gene that seems so rampant in our society either. Have never asked anyone for an autograph, a photo, and have no idea what I would do with one if some gave me one. The fact that these people are celebrities is a sad statement in and of itself, but the bar for "celebrity" has been sliding for a LONG time.

Now that he has put them up for sale hopefully LE will take them as evidence. They probably won't, and they probably already have certified copies for their own use, but it would be funny for him to think he has a buyer and then have them taken.

Could AB and EB have been staying in the vehicle because of the power being off or because of what ever happened in the house?

I haven't been to his site.
Does he sell advertising?
If he does he is making money from the hits on his site whether he sells the letters or not.

O/T

Why can't you read the pdf documents? You should be able to on the iPad.

(Also, there are some tutorials on YouTube on how to do screenshots on the iPad. Search "print screen ipad".)

:blushing:Honestly, if I can't do anything on it that it should do then it's 100 hundred percent MY fault!!!

Thanks for the tip. I'm sure I should do this ASAP on a lot of topics!! I used to just FB and surf news articles so there was no need but Zahra brought me here so it's time to get cracking!

Interesting. I think it's a definate possibility and I'm thinking it was because of whatever went on in that house. IMO ONLY.

So, Causby is only a FOREMAN for the business BUT he owns property that probably rents it to the business to store equipment.

Coffey OWNS the business AND the house that they lived at.

Let's make sure we have it straight:

F.C. reportedly owns the Real Tree Service Business, is the foreman and employs three other people. His business property was searched during the investigation.

M. Coffey is apparently AB's supervisor ("boss") and reportedly owns the property where the Bakers were living.http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/10/1...orkplace-remains-missing-north-carolina-girl/
(And recent reports that Coffey evicted AB.)

Agreed?

Yeah, I was struck how she wrote, "People actually want to kill me," with surprise. She seems *really* out of touch with the enormity of the situation.

JMO

Kinda has shades of KC Anthony..I think they both figured that everyone has always believed what they said (or at least pretended to) so they can not understand why in the world we, 'the public' doesn't buy it as well. From the letter it even sounds like she is/was expecting LE to re-arrest Adam based on what she told them (not imagining that they wouldn't believe her, ha!)...and I believe that he WILL be re-arrested..just not based on her shift the blame story..moo..

Gein went on to say the police know about the letters.

"They said that they have copies of all the letters that are coming and outgoing and that they know they're legit letters," she said. "So they don't doubt it and neither do we."

Police told WBTV it's possible the letters are real, but that they don't have them.

I'm thinking it's timing. If LE has a press conference tomorrow and comes out with the stuff that she has been saying or stuff to the contrary of what she said, the letters are of less value.

Teh pass the tums please?

If these are proven to be from her...for sure, without a doubt. Her lawyer(s) is/are going to freak.

Adam meet bus...bus meet Adam.

(not a comment on whether or not he has involvment, but looks like the finger pointing may have started if this really is a letter eh?)

Sorry still have two threads to read to catch up. Just my :twocents: :)

RE:
snipped from article -quote - "the cops know where Zahra is-and what he has done" -

Really??

Was there DNA evidence on the woodchipper, from the fire in the backyard, anywhere in the house?? ...and is there evidence that Adam did it and you are completely innocent??

I THINK NOT!!

OT-Me too Kat - I am still trying to catch up!!

One of the owners, Jessika Gein, told WBTV by phone Tuesday night her husband used a pen name when he wrote to Baker. "We don't doubt the authenticity of it," said Gein regarding the letters.

But some of what Baker allegedly writes is disturbing when she talks about what happened to the little girl who's been missing for nearly a month. She again blames her husband, Adam, writing,"we really didn't kill her but what he did after the fact is kinda horrifying." She goes on to say that she is afraid of her husband.

In another letter she writes, "Zahra isn't missing. The cops know where she is and what he has done. That's right what he has done."

Related: Full Coverage of the Search for Zahra

The letters stop short of saying where Zahra is or what happened to her.

When Gein was asked how they know the letters are authentic she said, "if we write to that person and we get something back and it's stamped by the prison or the jail, the envelope, then we pretty much know it's legit."

Gein went on to say the police know about the letters.

"They said that they have copies of all the letters that are coming and outgoing and that they know they're legit letters," she said. "So they don't doubt it and neither do we."

Maybe he has some sort of conscience despite his business? In the little clip that I heard he sounded genuinely shocked that she actually confided in him. (a total stranger to her) I don't care for how he apparently makes a living..but I am withholding any judgment for now..if all this is legit, he has endeared himself to me at the moment anyway..
