Thanks matey, I haven't posted very much in there lately.

It is so heart breaking to think that if only Zahra had stayed in Oz she would still be here. I know I shouldn't think like that but this is such a sad, sad story. The are only 2 reasons why Zahra is no longer here and that is Adam and Elesa Baker, without these two "blank blank's" that sweetie would still be around.

I wish we could hear more from Adam Baker's family in Oz, maybe on our currant affairs shows tonight...if so, I'll be posting it.

absolutely they should get the same punishment, I don't understand any scenario where dad puts his child through a woodchipper (alone or with his wife) where he was not directly involved in her death

just can't wrap my mind around it, comes home to find out SM killed his child that he has been neglecting and kills SM and himself, I get that.... this, not so much

Now former Newcastle girl Zahra Baker has disappeared, with her parents at the centre of a major police investigation in the US amid claims the 10-year-old was abducted for a $US1 million ransom.

North Carolina police were told of Zahra's disappearance last Saturday when they were contacted by her father Adam Baker.

Like how is the fact that we will most liekly have a hard time narrowing the time of death affect our ability to try this case?

If so, then how did anyone know the hearing aids were left behind? In another room? Where? Why?

I am not sure, must see NG again but in the beginning of show, I was surprised when she said Zahra's room was empty. I swear I heard that.

We may know by the activity on site, if it continues to be covered, and if some remains were found but it'll be days/weeks before a positive ID through DNA - right?

Not that positive ID would be anything more than a formality.

A week on dna if they rush it but I think they can at least id the blood as belonging the Zahra really soon.

IIRC that was a statment made on the NG show, I did not hear it personally and I don't know in what context it was said or who said it.

I'm taking that one with a grain of salt the size of a mountain, until we get some clarification~ only because of the reason I outlined above. JMHO

Stunned and shocked

Karen Baker was also in tears late yesterday and said from her Newcastle home that her son was devastated.

Mrs Baker begged anyone in her son's home town in the US to come forward with information.

"We are just stunned and shocked and so upset about what has happened," she said.

"Adam is obviously very upset, but he is holding up.

I am not sure, must see NG again but in the beginning of show, I was surprised when she said Zahra's room was empty. I swear I heard that.

I wonder if they meant empty as in when they checked the room for Zahra it was empty (no Zahra).
Or if they meant it was empty, as in vacant of all things.

I have a couple of scenarios, assuming she was deceased for sometime she may have been in vehicle A and then the plan for the jobsite came to light and they moved her to Dad's work vehicle.

Or she left the property in Dad's work vehicle and what ever was wrapped around her for transport (blanket, carpet, etc....) was moved to SMs trunk for disposal and left the decomp scent in both vehicles

The SUV was the one they doused in gas, that is the one I am expecting to have the most evidence. The "good" news is there is no way did this and did not bring bloody mulch into the vehicle with them. The evidence will be overwhelming.

I also believe she could've been in both vehicles, maybe initially put in the sedan and then moved to the SUV, with the SUV having the most damaging evidence therefore the one burned. MOO

I only read about 1 woodchipper murder years ago.
But they did find a few pieces of the lady and her husband
was convicted of her murder! JMOO

the multiple chippers has me confused because (major graphic warning for those that want to move past this post) she was small enough to not need to be dismembered to go thru an industrial chipper. This is not a backyard chipper, grown men working this equipment have been pulled through them, so dismemberment ala Fargo would not be needed.

But what if one of the machines is finer in what it spits out (sorry, I know that is horrible) but what if they took the mulch from the large machine and refed it through the smaller one? It would explain the multiple chippers, the multiple mulch piles involved.

It is the only scenario I can make sense out of.

Here's my thoughts on all this. I'll try to keep it somewhat "simplistic" and not too graphic - ya'll can think the details.

On the 2 chippers. I don't believe it was "started" at the house - more that it was "ended" at the house. They both drove to the work site and the large chipper was used. It was meesy, very ugly and didn't quite "do the job" they thought it would. So, they got shovels and filled both trunks (or the trunk of the sedan and the back of the Tahoe) with "the mulch". They brought it all home and then ran it through the second chipper which created a "mulch pile" in the backyard. Then the gasoline in the vehicle and set it all afire. (Maybe even some of Zahra's clothes and belongings were thrown in the fire.

This would put decomp and blood into both vehicles, on both woodchippers and in the burned mulch pile in the backyard and the mulch pile at the work site. Cadavar dogs would alert to all those.

I also believe there were probably so "HIGH" when they did this as that is the only way ANY human being could carry out such a horrific event without totally going completely insane. And yes, meth could make you that way.

I believe we'll get a lot more news tomorrow and prepare yourselves - its gonna be hard to take.
