Actually I think the chipper is in this pic. Its yellow and up towards the top left - you can see the "fluted" chute where the chipped wood flies out. That white truck is a bucket truck for gettin up in the trees - the rest of that white truck is a collection bin and behind it could be a smaller chipper - like the kind you see when tree trimmers come to your house. But I believe that the big yellow one in this pic is the one they are talking about.

While we're all praying for Zahra tonight, please keep law enforcement in your thoughts as well. As sickening as this case is, they're having to witness the evidence first hand. Please please please pray that LE continues to do an excellent job with this case so that the evidence is preserved and can be used to lock these monsters up for life.

I can't even imagine what law enforcement is going through right now. There really are no words for how sickening this is.

For Zahra. I hope you're flying with the angels right now princess. :rose:

That's the kind that you occasionally hear of sucking in an entire person in seconds. Employees in past accidents have talked about their co workers just being gone in a blink of an eye. There is nothing but red goo spit out on the otherside. Explains the glove.

That is a wildly expensive piece of equipment.
I think the equipment is at a jobsite and Zahra was brought to it in the SUV.

I have been googling my little fingers off though and I cannot find a company with that name anywhere near north carolina....

this chipper is obviously onsite... and perhaps many landscaping//trimming companies pay to use it.

Yes, this is the first woodchipper-related crime I ever read about, in a grisly paperback detailing the horror.

If the dad is out with the searchers, it is possible the wood chipper is unrelated to Zahra and maybe some evidence was put in there, if anything...

FYI - the wood chipper portion is the smaller portion attached to the back of the large truck.

Those tree trimming trucks do have the chippers on the back.

But, when I think of Woodchipper, I think of the yellow thing like in the pictures a few posts up that are by the pile of wood.
I don't know if they are talking about the yellow woodchipper or the white tree trimming truck.

I just assumed they were talking about the yellow woodchipper.

But, I could be wrong.

The white truck is a bucket truck. It's used in many different industries not just tree trimming. It has an arm with a bucket attached that a person stands in while the arm can be raised to reach heights, like the tops of trees or power lines for instance.

The chipper is the piece of equipment behind the truck.

they also had a mulch pile in the backyard (that conveniently caught on fire) and their rental property is also listed as the business addy for the tree trimming business ((that I have yet to locate despite all my searching today))
