If they already have Zahra's DNA profile then it would only take a matter of hours for them to process DNA from a suspected bone but first the forensics would document what they received, study it, looking for trace evidence, marks, noting every little thing before they try to extract DNA if that is even possible. If matter is still on the bone this process would take even longer. My guess is LE will know by late afternoon tomorrow or early the next day.

Agree, however a chainsaw could have been used as well. What would be more horrific than either one of those things?

Anyone remember that picture of the white bag that was posted a few days ago (the one in the back yard)? Remember someone else posted a picture next to it and it was the same shape of a chainsaw???

EB says in the letter that AB did something kinda horrifying ... makes one think.

I missed that, got a direct link to the pic by chance ?

They are locking down an entire area over night, had media leave and restricted the chopper and they are threatening arrests.
They absolutely have something solid, they wouldn't do all this if there was a possibility it is an animal bone.

I wonder how far out the media is pushed back too? Also if her remains are found would a coroners vehical be dispatched to the scene or is one already there at the search site?

They are protecting the scene which may or may not contain more evidence. It's just good work on LE's part. Confirmation will come when it comes.

I'm pretty new to WS and don't think I have anything to add here beyond what other posters have already said. However, I wanted to sign on to add my voice to the chorus that dares to hope justice will soon be served on Zahra's behalf.

This case is heartbreaking.

Welcome to WS. You can not find a better forum, intelligent and they have a sense of humor when needed. Its just a great community.

RBBM and sunset, I have long wondered about the existence of a wood splitter at the home.

Somewhere earlier it said that there was, in fact, a wood splitter at the home. Are you saying you wondered if there was, or wondered why it was there? (I'm going to try to find the link.)

I believe 100% that they have more then we know out there. To threaten arrest etc. They have to be almost certain it's Zahra's bone. I'm behind them 100 percent to do whatever they have to do to get these awful people behind bars forever! I guess my only really :waitasec: is WHY is AB still free? I just can't wrap my mind around him being able to do and go as he pleases.

Biomum finally figuring out where Zahra was in the U.S., may have been the very thing that brought it out that Zahra was even missing. :(

Who knows how long EB et al. may have told stories and explained Zahra's absence to those who enquired?

For all we know, Zahra's cancer came back and she didn't want anymore treatment. It wouldn't be the first time 'parents' allowed a child to die per their wishes. Or even helping death along.

Course the furniture store lady saw her. Nevermind.

Well, it does sound like EB is helping to bring this to a close. At least she was good for that much.

Given the description of abuse and torture EB heaped on Zahra, according to family and neighbors, I seriously doubt she would follow Zahra's wishes and "allow" her to die as an act of kindness. Considering her own daughter is afraid for her life (she testified under oath),I don't think EB is cooperating to help LE find Zahra. More likely she is trying to put the blame for Zahra's death on someone else in order to save her own sorry skin :furious:

If LE arrest AB in the next few days they will charge him with a lesser charge something like depraved indifference to a child enough to hold him but not enough to bring in the murder charge.

If that was the case you would think that she would have looked sick at the furniture store and that the parents would have just called and reported her death...unless they saw an opportunity to get 1 mil from the boss. JMO

Oh I hope they find this child...:prayer:

As profound an LE team as this one is, I do not believe for a minute that they won't. Actually IMHO they already have .... and they are locking the area down for that reason.

So if Zahra is found just left in the area where the leg was, does that mean EB is lying about the horrifuc thing AB did after the fact? :waitasec:

Not that killing a child and leaving their body in the bush isn't horrific enough but I don't know that it would be what EB would describe as horrific.

Or it could just be that they are tired of lookey loos and the media who are getting in the way. People like to gawk, sometimes for no good reason. People like to try and take it upon themselves to go search. I am not sure it's because they have some big discovery back there.
