NC water can be really muddy with red mud, especially right after rain washes it all down (which we had a ton of recently). You can't see thru it at all.

Biomum finally figuring out where Zahra was in the U.S., may have been the very thing that brought it out that Zahra was even missing.

Who knows how long EB et al. may have told stories and explained Zahra's absence to those who enquired?

I believe 100% that they have more then we know out there. To threaten arrest etc. They have to be almost certain it's Zahra's bone. I'm behind them 100 percent to do whatever they have to do to get these awful people behind bars forever! I guess my only really :waitasec: is WHY is AB still free? I just can't wrap my mind around him being able to do and go as he pleases.

LE know where AB is. They are collecting evidence and putting together as much as they can before they act. Once LE acts and takes AB in for questioning or arrests him you can bet LE will have their ducks in a row.

LE are going to have some answers and AB's story is going to have to fit the facts ... if I was AB I'd be sweating with all this LE and FBI activity and preparing my story ... since it is obvious that EB will ensure AB takes the fall.

The good thing is EB's intent is known in the public domain thanks to her letters. AB is on notice and needs to fit his 'story' to what LE has.

Patience is a virtue. It also ensure AB sweats and does not know much of what LE has/knows.

As profound an LE team as this one is, I do not believe for a minute that they won't. Actually IMHO they already have .... and they are locking the area down for that reason.

Not that killing a child and leaving their body in the bush isn't horrific enough but I don't know that it would be what EB would describe as horrific.

I'm often glad the tears fall when my kiddo is in bed but that doesn't always happen. Sometimes he wonders why mommy is crying in front of the computer again. Just wanted to let you know I understand and send some hugs.

Anyone know how long a test on the bone could take? Not only to determine human vs. animal but to determine if it belongs to Zahra?

Wonder if you can tell if the bone belongs to a bone cancer survivor with a simple x-ray or something.

I'll bet that they already know whether the bone is human or not...probably have an idea as to the age of the bone(s) as well. Surely between the agencies there was an expert at or close to the scene that would be able to tell..maybe not..but I'd bet my last $ they know at least that much..ain't gonna tell us though..:ziplip:..:no:..

I just spent a couple minutes trying to google an answer for that. Didn't come up with one and had to quit looking.... it's just to sad.

Or it could just be that they are tired of lookey loos and the media who are getting in the way. People like to gawk, sometimes for no good reason. People like to try and take it upon themselves to go search. I am not sure it's because they have some big discovery back there.

They requested the chopper to leave the area- that alone makes me sit up and take notice.

But the fact that the chopper left tells me the media believes something important is happening and are co-operating with LE. (just as our media outlets here will not show live shots of a standoff so they don't tip off the suspect) that chopper could have pulled back and continued to broadcast. (the cameras on those things have amazing long distance range)

I don't know WHAT they found, it may or may not actually be Zahra but they found something important to the case.
