No, because LE came out and said that the dog hit on the woodchipper, was no longer a solid lead. IMO



K9 crews indicated earlier in the week that traces of human remains were found on wood processing equipment in an area where Baker's father once worked, but detectives with the Burke County Sheriff's Office said that is no longer a solid lead.

You don't think so? I believe that it could..it's been a very hot and humid 3 or 4 weeks around here..

My dd now 12 has had semi permanent and permanent hair color, I don't see an issue...........:waitasec:

I don't see the issue with it either. I have one daughter who is blond and even in 8th and 9th grade the kids would use Kool-aide to color their hair.

Now I refused to let my youngest dye her hair for years- she was a broken record about it- but she is a red head and I wasn't letting that color be covered up. lol I did eventually let her do a teal blue in the back bottom layer (with her hair down you couldn't tell it was colored.)

But the kids around here go all kinds of colors.

Then we're sure that she's been sunk in a monte carlo in some body of water?
Then we're sure that she's in pieces in the yard in the other mulch pile?
Then we're sure that she's in the dump?
Then we're sure she's been burnt in the fire?
Then we're sure she's alongside the road (when the chopper was in are of leg days ago)
Then we're sure she's in the pond that's being drained?
Then we're sure she's on the side of the road again because a bone has been found?
Oh wait, she might have been stuffed in the walls?
Or in the fridge?
Or under the floorboards?
(Because they've cut the house to pieces)

Not trying to put down any of these theories, because they all have basis, but do you see what I am getting at? How many times over the last 3 weeks have we (I use that generally) been positive about it and then, here we are, still looking, still guessing. (and maybe there is some that still feel that she was found days or weeks ago and this is all just a big cover up for whatever reason, I don't know). I really feel that jumping to conclusions without any real basis is just getting everyone wound up and setting up for failure if you will. It's emotional enough, but this just makes it more of an emotional rollercoaster. JMO

With zero intent of being snippy, that is the great thing about this board. For those that don't like the rollercoaster/debate/speculation there is generally a media thread where you can keep up with the daily announcements, and a support thread where kind words about the missing can be shared with those that find comfort in that community bond.

We all have things we can stomach reading. My weak spot is animal cruelty. I skip right over those stories, they are traumatizing to me in a way that is not productive at all. I know some posters skip the child cases because the details keep them awake at night.

Of course to each his own but if I, as a parent, decided to put color on my 10 yr old daughter's hair, I would have to be fully committed to keeping it up. Roots to be touched up and all that, you know.

My 10 yr old daughter has never even entertained the idea of changing her hair color. Is that something alot of preteen girls ask for? Guess I'm out of the loop. :blushing:

Wonder if you can tell if the bone belongs to a bone cancer survivor with a simple x-ray or something.

Excellent thought about some possible bone analysis! I'm feeling that this is Zahra. If the bone is only a fragment, then it can be more difficult to determine if it's human versus animal (and wouldn't eliminate the chipper in my mind if that is the case). If the bone is complete, it is much easier. If the bone is juvenile and human, then it points it towards being Zahra with some degree of certainty. Other things can help with pointing towards it being her as well, such as measurements to determine height, race and any other things such as disease. Maybe cancer is something that can be identified in bone tissue.

I am wondering why they are draining ponds instead of using divers? It seems to me that divers with search lights would find more evidence faster and reduce the risk of losing small evidence pieces in the draining process.

I believe they think they are close if they are doing a line search and have moved the media away from the site. When she is found it will be in privacy and with dignity, away from the prying eye of the media. The has been enough exploitation of this tradgedy with the letters.

Zahra has earned the respect that will be afforded her when she is found whether it is in one place or many.

Lead them honey - you brought them this far.

Sorry I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but, that small pond looks like it could be a borrow pit. If that's the case, it is likely has very loose sediment. That would make it difficult to actually see down to the bottom. Divers would be searching by feel rather than sight.

If it's a borrow pit, that also explains why it is a lot deeper than it looks like it should be.

In the Caylee Anthony case, after 51/2 months she was completely skeletonized and if I recall correctly there were sites that explained human decomp and the stages. I just do not think it is Zahra, unless of course she went "missing" much earlier. Let me see if I can find a link.

I agree. It's no big deal. I'm more concerned with EB's hair for a multitude of reasons.....lol. She could have dyed Z's hair 15 colors and it would make no difference to me if she was safe, loved, and treasured.

Somewhere earlier it said that there was, in fact, a wood splitter at the home. Are you saying you wondered if there was, or wondered why it was there? (I'm going to try to find the link.)

In this article, it states there was a log splitter in the yard:

If she has been exposed to the elements, insects and animals when combined with her body weight it very well could be her remains.

That being said I also think she was dead weeks before the 911 call.

Bug evidence will show a timeline most likely.

I just cannot get over how much she looks like my youngest daughter. Chills me to the bone every time I see a photograph of her.

I completely understand that...she looks IDENTICAL to my middle daughter. Its is scary sometimes. I have been crying and crying and trying to stop but it is not even nearly possible at this point. This situation just hurts so bad and to know how many other people feel the same way. I just wish, like so many others that she would have known this love in life instead of death. But like my daughter said to me, "she still knows mommy she still feels it and knows its there." God bless children...each and everyone one no matter where they are or who has them.

Thank you to everyone in this community for being there for one another. Helping each other figure things out is priceless sometimes. To the person who started this website they are amazing and to all of us who keep it going and doing what it does so well. THANK YOU! There are some days when who knows where we would have been without the moral support. And the feedback and help with the case that has been given over and over again to countless people. Yes ... fun isn't it!! That's the attraction of WS, that we *try* to Sleuth based on what we know and then change that as new info comes to light.

You should try the HaLeigh Cummings forum and things like the theories thread ... our members there have agonized for months and months to try to figure out what became of her and who did it.

We can either wait and just track with LE pressers and MSM or we can take what we can find from various sources and *try* to put the pieces together ... and typically get it wrong!

We may just hit the nail on the head or sponsor a thought or new idea that either leads to Zahra and/or helps LE. You never know!

Thinking outside the box, brainstorming and, wild speculation can often lead to the real truth. The truth always finds a way.........
