No. had not seen those pics of Zahra. Where did you get those if I can ask?

Image/attachment #2 was very disturbing when taken into close up range. Perhaps just the graininess of the photo but her eyes, they are haunting.

Could also be that she was feeling very sick or side effects from the chemo. when this picture was taken.

Also regarding Tarabulls pictures, it looks like something is wrong with the arm on the right side of the picture(would be her left) where she is sitting.

Ohhhh Bless her heart. The joy has gone out of her life and the sparkle in her eyes is gone.

These pics are so sad... omg.. I just cant get even get a grip on this case. O/T.. I was thinking the same thing about old friends here at ws...

Given that they had this er, issue with writing bad checks, given that they seemed a bit long in the tooth and in difrent spaces in their lives (called parenthood) than the typical goth. In addition there is the drug paraphanalia and the mention of pot in the ransom note - I think - cripes, already losiong sight of basic initial facts.

Given the whole inheritted stepkid with cancer NO LESS! I knew I was signing on for this but for ***** sake, I didn't know it was gonna be like this!


Point being, were she (SM) that heavily into anything at her age and position, stage, role in life - I would question it YKWIM?

Just a thought: If this was for a passport photo she could be looking so upset because she is leaving her home and everyone/thing she has known to come to the states. That would be scary at any age.

Members of WS are savvy, and some of the most informed people in comparison to the general public that does not follow crimes and missing persons cases.

I, for one, don't believe that any WSer here is under the naive impression that someone's Myspace page choice of decor means anything remotely to the alleged crimes that are said to have occured.

WSer's are as a whole- incrediably curious though and if we see something we stop, look, ask what-why-how-who-before we process the info and then decide to keep it in the collective conscious as we continue to look at crimes.

Personally I don't think a self identifier as "goth" means squat in relation to Zahra what happened to her or where she is but that's just my little ol' humble opinion

They are both disturbing, like she doesnt want them taken and what is with that white sheer draped behind her? A passport pic? But who takes a passport pic like that? Certainly isnt a happy kid there, or even pretending to be. The video of her getting her new hearing aides is priceless, she looks so happy and excited... These look like shes on an auction block.

THANK YOU fo rputting it in a nutshell when I was so inept.

My problem and red flags pertain to SM specific behavior. I am not saying I would find the goth lifestyle in and of itself objectionable to anyone.

Yes, ITA those pictures are haunting and telling. Why the "white sheet" backdrop? Its next to the kitchen so could be the fridge. Almost looks like a horrible attempt at a passport picture?

That poor child. My heart hurts when I look at her in these. You can truly see the pain, desparation, fear, loneliness, longing for love in this beautiful girl. Oh how I would have loved to have her come live with me and my beautiful DD - who would have loved to be the big sister. God surely had a very special place for this one.

Since the Aussie biomom were on their tails, maybe they were getting ready to flee.

Zahra looks so much like my 10 yo niece, it is heart-wrenching to see pictures

There is a pic of Zahra's dad in front of the same white sheet from that myspace page. Posed just like Zahra was. Perhaps posters thinking passport photo were correct.

Did you notice happen to notice Zahra's t-shirt reads "not listening"??

Are these pics more recent? I remember a comment way earlier from someone claiming to know the family who said Zahra looked nothing like the pics being released to the public of her. If these two pics are more recent than that person was correct.

She looks HORRFIED in them photos
