I'm assuming that because what I posted above is part of her criminal history, these 'aliases' were in fact her names at some point. I doubt LE would just take her word for it. I coined them 'aliases' because when I put the name we knew into a public search engine, it gave me those other names as 'possible aliases.' I had no idea I would actually find charges listed to all of those names of hers.

Mew, in one article late yesterday (I think) it mentioned that the mom did not know she was in the US until last week...we pondered if that was why the fire/missing/crap story got told when it did if she had been missing for awhile already.

Ohhh okay thank you. Now it makes sense why all of a sudden if Zahra has been gone for awhile now there is all this covering up and staging. I couldn't understand why now and not earlier or later for that matter. Wow- thanks.

Could the surname Allred have come from a previous marriage?

AKA or alias' are not always made up names but names we have used legally in the past KWIM?

The reason I ask is from puttering around genealogy websites while looking up some ancestors in the past, I remember that the surname Allred is deeply rooted and considered an "old" name IIRC the Carolina's or thereabouts?

OR Gloria Allred the prolific lawyer who has represented many women including Amber Frey and Nicole Brown Simpson's family!
She is quite well known for representing 'opressed' women. I think she was also involved in representing some of Tiger Wood's girlfriends.

Anyway, an interesting use of an alias last name!

So, that might not be true about the bio mum last seeing Zahra when she was 8 mths old? Ohhh, I wonder if Adam Baker has been telling lies about the bio mum and has kept her deliberately from Zahra?

Zahra Clare Baker is the little girl who never was to neighbors on 21st Avenue NW.
“I’ve never seen her,” said Eddie Mitchell, who lives across from the Baker house.
“Nobody ever saw her,” said Elisabeth Goderstad, whose house is nearby on 22nd Street.
In fact, Mitchell says he saw Zahra’s stepmother, Elisa Baker, once.
“I walk two or three times a day,” Mitchell said Tuesday evening. Usually, he walks briskly a mile or so along 21st Street.
Occasionally, he’ll try N.C. 127 North, just steps from his house and the Bakers’.
It was one of those occasions when he saw Zahra’s father, Adam Baker, drive up with his wife. There was no child with them when they got out of the car.
“I’m always out,” Mitchell said. “I never noticed them (the Bakers) until about three weeks or a month ago.”
Mitchell has lived at the same location for two years.
“He was always out at the mailbox, and I would say hello, but I couldn’t get a reaction. He wasn’t a very sociable guy.”
He said some of the neighbors told him they saw Elisa Baker from time to time.
Mitchell said he was surprised Sunday morning when a Hickory police officer asked him if he had seen Zahra.
Then, it was the officer’s turn to be surprised when Mitchell said never.

Elisa Baker's father, Marshall Fairchild, says he hasn't seen Zahra Baker in more than a year. He got in a dispute with his daughter and they moved out.

“It's hard for me to believe that Lisa would do anything to that youngin, but you never know. I mean drugs interfere with your mind,” he said.

Fairchild didn't elaborate on his daughter's drug use, but he did say he wanted peace for Zahra.

“If they done it, I wish she'd go ahead and they'd tell him where the body's at,” he said.

If mom did not see her since eight months but was onl ylooking for her for the last five years that would mean for the first 4.5 year (?) of Zahra's life mom either knew where she was and didn't see her or didn't know but only started being concerned five eyars ago.

I am waiting for more info on this, we have only the one source that I know of and I am unwilling to speak of it as fact until I see something authenticating that claim in that one newssource quoted thereafter?

But one thing is very clear. Biological mom has been very quiet. I wish I knew more but feel ghoulish wondering, KWIM?

I'm not sure even in the light of what has happened that SM meant it as a slur against Zahra. Perhaps because in this picture Zahra is dressed in all black she is a dark child? I cut up about my youngest being "dark" because she prefers dark, black or abby dawn clothing LOL KWIM? JMHO I could be wrong.

I took it as being sarcastic as she didnt look like a dark child even dressed all in black. Whats weird to me is how she is dressed and what appear to be christmas presents in the background.

The school system says she was enrolled for fifth grade at Hudson but never showed up. Her parents told the school that she was being home schooled but The North Carolina Division of Non Public Schools says there is no record of Adam or Elisa Baker currently operating a home school.

That's a good idea! I asked Fifth Essence earlier tonight if they had a chart for Zahra yet, kinda on purpose as I wanted the people watching this thread to become members and seek out that area as well, but I didn't get an answer... not that I know of anyway. I've been in an out.
