She called 9-1-1 around 6 a.m. saying she needed help and that set off a response from local authorities.

Extensive searches covering 6,000 acres have been done and Spirit Lake people are being asked to check their properties.

*****
Hunters are also being warned to watch for searchers out in fluorescent vests and other identifying gear.

*****
She recently celebrated her 20th birthday by taking her younger sister trick-or-treating for Halloween.

White is employed by McDonaldโ€™s in Devils Lake.

Multiple agencies continue their extensive search after 20-year-old Danica โ€˜Tyneeโ€™ White called 911 at 6 a.m. asking for help, then couldnโ€™t be found near Fort Totten.

*****
โ€œMore than 6,000 acres have been covered through the coordinated ground, air, and water operations,โ€ said Vicki Alberts, Public Relations Specialist, Spirit Lake Tribe. โ€œWe continue to receive outstanding support from the BIA Police Department, the BIA Missing & Murdered Unit, North Dakota Highway Patrol, Bismarck Mounted Police, Benson County Sheriffโ€™s Office, and the FBI.โ€

*****
White has a medical condition and suffers from asthma, which requires careful monitoring and access to medication.

Danica White was last heard from on Saturday morning. Investigators say the 20-year-old White called 9-1-1 asking for help and mentioning she was cold.

******
The tribe also pointed out that while a Feather Alert went out Saturday night, many received it without sound, and some didnโ€™t receive it at all.

โ€œWe are also planning on putting out our own text alert, just again to serve as a reminder to our community that Danica is still missing, and that we continue to search for her until she comes home,โ€ said Vicki Alberts, Spirit Lake Tribe spokesperson.

Alberts says the tribe is working with the North Dakota Highway Patrol to figure out the issue with the Feather Alert.

No mention of a car? What was she doing out at 6:00 AM, on her way to work?

She must have said SOMETHING more on the 911 call! No more details on WHY she needed help? Was she calling from her own phone? What happened to her phone after that? Maybe it's too early for LE to have gotten info from her phone.

Nobody has said anything about where she was the night before she called 911?

In the KVRR article linked in post #2, her family says that she celebrated her 20th birthday by taking her younger sister trick-or-treating on Halloween. So, Oct 31 must have been her birthday, and it was the following morning that she called 911.

Sad news :( She was found deceased.

Missing Spirit Lake woman Danica White has been found deceased, concluding an almost weeklong search that started after she called Fort Totten police Saturday asking for help.

According to a Spirit Lake Nation spokesperson, her body was recovered from the waters just before 3 p.m. Thursday.

According to Vicki Alberts, public relations specialist for Spirit Lake Nation, no foul play is suspected at this time, and it is not a suicide.

I'm getting snippets of a post in a Facebook group named "Rebecca Smith Group โ€“ Missing Loved Ones"
I'm unable to see the post, but I see snippets saying an autopsy revealed she was strangled to death. Cannot confirm.
Here is the link if anyone happens to have access:

She may have had hypothermia. Perhaps she went in the lake, and when she got hypothermia, she got disoriented, so she called 911 and complained about being cold. Then, because of being disoriented, she went into the lake.

I believe she called bcause she was unsure of her location but what stuck out the most was she said "she was cold". I agree with others here in that she likely was in the early stages of hypothermia at the time. It can happen very quickly. So sorry to hear of her passing.
