I wonder if he will go nuts if he's found guilty. He scares the crap out of me.

I've wondered that all along, too. I don't think he'll be stoic, but he may surprise us.

Haha...it will definitely be interesting to see how he reacts. He's an oddball, for sure.

Hopefully, whatever his fate is, they've got it right.

Yes, they started at 830. CTV has the deliberation clock at 4 hrs 25 minutes right now.

I had the jury deliberating for 3 hours yesterday - ~2pm to 5pm - so they've been there today now for 1 hour 25 minutes - correct? TIA! :)

Yes, correct and it looks like they reached a verdict about the time I posted, so 4 hours 25 minutes total appx.

If he did in fact commit the crime, it makes zero sense that he didn't just get rid of any evidence in his trailer that could link him.

That’s extremely strange and doesn't add up.

He really thought he wasn't going to get caught and wanted trophies. It's impossible to make sense of the actions of a person who does something to senseless like slaughtering 4 innocent people, seemingly for the thrill of it.

I disagree...

It's almost impossible to get away with murder these days.

What trophies did he keep?

Trophies are items that belong to the victims.

Wouldn't he have taken their ID cards and wallets? Surely they would be cool trophies, no?

Also...someone who thinks they are going to get away with murder doesn't drive their OWN truck to and from the murder scene (The state claim it's his truck).

That's just something nobody would do, it's completely illogical.

It makes no sense whatsoever.

Says who? Shell casings are trophies in this case. Does it make sense to keep them? Nope. But neither does killing 4 innocent people. This guy, as a whole, makes no sense.

Agree. Why does it have to make sense to those of us who are not murderers? Some things (i.e. poor little Mercedes in Indiana who was just sold for drugs and murdered) make no sense to those of us with normal brains and we could drive ourselves crazy trying to make sense of such things. We, instead, just accept there is evil in the world :(.

That's just the way it works...

The Trophies are souvenirs that belonged to their victims. I'm not a serial killer so I don't why...but it's just what they do.

I'm not sure i’d consider the shell casings as a trophy,

Assuming he's guilty, does anyone have any compelling theories as to his motive?

Oh. Well, legal analysts do.

Guilty on all charges -

Any date on sentencing? I don't think I heard the Judge say anything about it...

There's going to be a pre-sentencing investigation first. Then the sentencing would be scheduled.
