Allowing for travel time to and from the tow service call and paperwork, the tow service driver could have been actively at that impound yard on return approx. between 3 to 4 AM.

A Fargo AM radio station was heard to report that a police dog followed Tom Bearson's scent from the area he was last reported alive, WEST to the railroad tracks.

The following map is from Google earth and shows the locations.

So in summary: TB went missing in the area of the tow yard that Fargo uses to impound cars at a time when the tow truck was active, as was Tom. His scent was tracked by the dogs to the west of the house he was partying at, which is where the tow lot is located. He was found near the tow yard that the city of Moorhead uses. Goes missing in the vicinity of one tow yard---is found in the vicinity of another tow yard. What are the odds?

Are you insinuating that the tow truck driver did this? Or what? For once, I am at a loss for words.
And are you also insinuating that Tom was driving drunk?

My post was very, very clear. All I did was post known, publicly available information, and post it in order. There is absolutely zero insinuation there, and the interpretation is left up to the reader.

(BBM) Tom Bearson was actually driving drunk this is a matter of public record and has been discussed on here beyond at length.

"Early Sept. 12, an officer pulled Bearson over for driving west in an eastbound lane near campus, The Forum reported. He was arrested for driving under the influence and a minor in possession of alcohol.

He pleaded guilty to both misdemeanors later that day, was ordered to pay $1,075, serve 36 hours of community service and get a chemical dependency evaluation, the paper said."

I didn't say the tow truck driver had anything to do with this, did I? If that's what you think from reading the facts presented then post your own thoughts, don't try to post mine. Who said anything about Tom driving that night---drunk or otherwise????

"A Fargo AM radio station was heard to report"? I would be very interested to read how you've come to this conclusion. Are you saying that all the written MSM reports were inaccurate when they reported that law enforcement with K9 units "did not find any new leads"? Can you please explain the specifics of this scenario you are presenting?

“Police dogs, officers and firefighters Monday afternoon began “methodical” grid-style search that area toward campus, where Bearson, a nursing student, lived in Reid Hall dormitory.”

“Police dogs, officers and firefighters on Monday afternoon began to search the area Bearson was last seen.”
“The area where Bearson was last seen is about six blocks south of his dorm. It was searched previously, but Monday’s afternoon canvassing is more detailed.”

“On Monday afternoon, Fargo police asked residents to look for any sign of Bearson. Meanwhile, police made a grid with K9s to search for him, but they did not find any new leads.”

http://www.thenewsleaders.net/2014/0...ds-tragically/
“The area where he was last seen (the 800 block of 14th St. N. in Fargo, a half mile from his dormitory) has been thoroughly searched by police and search dogs, but not a single clue has been discovered.”

Are you saying it's possible that Tom's body may have been hidden in the Fargo based impound yard, then moved to the Moorhead tow yard? Then, moved to the RV sales lot? If not, can you explain the thought process here please?

I'm saying TB was a a party house near a tow lot in Fargo and was found near a tow lot in Moorhead. The RV lot where he was found is east of 29th St. So. in Moorhead and directly west on the same street is the tow lot. Just an observation---tow lot/tow lot. I think that's interesting. Maybe you could look at IB's map on the previous page to see what I mean.

The next 2 or more posters who decide to go at each other in a back and forth exchange will get a vacation from the forum or outright banned. Depending on the situation.

If one poster decides to direct a snarky post to another poster the same thing goes.

Whether it is just one poster or more it doesn't matter. You cannot personally attack or post snide remarks.

Going through this page I see very little discussion about Tom. I see a bunch of posts that have been removed that have nothing to do with Tom's case.

It's not about you, about who you think is insulting you. It's out and our wrong for anyone to make this discussion about themselves. It really makes me angry.

This is about the Tom Bearson case. Remember him? The victim?

This is an excellent observation and IIRC, as with any crime the key to solving it is looking for any type of similarities. What are the great odds that the last place he was seen alive and the place his body was recovered would both be with a block or two of a city owned impound lot. (Especially when the two sites are separated by several miles, and a state line. In two different cities?)

Certainly worth making note of.

I would still like to know how PF came into possession of the gold chain necklace that Tommy wore. He was the first on the scene after Tommy went missing to search which is admirable, but where was he when news of Tommy was reported missing? The snap-chat messages between the two the last night of Tommy's life and according to PF Tommy said "love you". Yet nothing further from PF.

I think this tow lot/tow lot coincidence is interesting.

Not saying anyone "did it" but certainly ought to be looked into, given that exchanges between tow lots and towed drivers can often be heated.

After all, I'm sure LE has looked into the frat angle, the friend angle, the gang angle... why not the towing angle.

I've looked at every picture I could find of TB and I don't see a gold chain. I do see a necklace made of hemp or similar material with wooden beads. From what I recall out of the articles I've read, PF did go to Fargo to search for TB after he was reported missing, but he was not searching alone. I'll try to find the specific article but from what I recall he made a statement implying that he was there with others and they searched until 4 a.m.

If I understand your angle, you think PF took the necklace from TB . If that were the case would he have allowed the fact that he had the necklace to be reported in the news?

If I misunderstood the reasoning behind your post please accept my apology.

At the begiining of this case we were trying to figure out why, of all places, someone would dispose of his body in the RV lot instead of the river, a ditch, a field, a dumpster, etc. There was speculation that maybe that was a place where people partied since the campers were left unlocked or maybe that was a place for drug deals, and a few other theories. Nothing has ever been established as far as the 'why' as no connection has ever been made. The area of one city tow lot to the area of another city tow lot offers some kind of connection. The fact that TB was stopped for DUI just one week prior and the car he was driving may have been towed to the Fargo tow lot offers another possible tow lot connection.

My guess is the family was given the necklace by the police when the body was found and the family gave it to PF since they had been such close friends.
