ND ND - Thomas 'Tom' Bearson, 19, Fargo, 20 Sep 2014 #4

The kid I used to babysit graduated in his class and was friends with Tom. With that said I am not going to dig around that area.

**This has zero merit** But my mom is friends with the afformentioned kid "who graduated with Tom's" mom and mentioned something about a break in the case coming. I have no idea.

Would you at all be interested in my driving over to the area where he was found and making a video? I drove by there a month or two ago. It was dark, all of the campers and trailers are quite close together and packed into this relatively small lot. The interesting fact that that this RV lot is damn near literally in the back parking lot of the new sams club. Like I could throw a rock into the back lot. (edit I would have offered to do this much sooner but i recently got my driving privileges back. long story)

Or really any other videos of the F/M area really...

(BBM) The part about this having, 'zero merit', to me, is what gave this merit. Thank you so much for offering to do this, especially for those of us who aren't around that area.

what I would be most interested in, is EXACTLY where his body was found. For some reason that just has not been released. If you can find that out, wow that would be something.

So I am not leading anyone on, I will likely shoot video and take some still pictures during the daylight this weekend. I doubt we will figure out where exactly he was found (IBsleuthin) but I also know someone who could possibly give me a hint or something if they know anything as well.

My plan is to take a quick drive by video and include the surrounding area and take some stills for point of reference. Any other places besides the RV park?

http://www.brainerddispatch.com/content/fbi-involved-investigation-slain-student-found-moorhead

This is old news- from Sept. 26th, but the part that I found interesting was this: "Investigators are seeking help in finding Bearson’s left shoe – a white Nike Air Jordan, size 9½. The shoe was missing from Bearson’s body when he was found dead. They are also looking for his cellphone, a silver-colored iPhone 5.

Lt. Tory Jacobson said Friday that neither item has been found. One phone was turned over to police, but it wasn’t Bearson’s, he said."

I don't recall ever reading they found a phone on any other news report of any kind. Perhaps the information was wrong, but I definitely found this interesting.

Perhaps I was reading too much into my last post. I was thinking they found a phone near Tom and turned it in. It probably just meant someone found a phone somewhere in Fargo or Moorhead resembling his and turned it in.

That is how I read it. Someone turned in a found phone, or something along those lines. If you really think about the big picture here if you want a phone to go away....you can make that happen quite easily. I mean I don't want to be the debbie downer because that is no way to live life but sometimes one has to think critically.

School is out. He should have been celebrating being done with his freshman year.

I never imagined that there would be no news . Astounding

Crickets! I was hopeful that the most recent Sartell interviews would have "popped" some of these tight lipped kids!

I am still hopeful LE is working on taking down a big group of crimnals

Things that make you go, "HHmmmmm..."

Today, Fargo police released the names of the two homicide victims.

http://www.grandforksherald.com/new...dentified-fargo-murders-occurring-hours-apart

From that article a neighbor had this to say: "Bultman said some new residents in the area have told him they've come into the area fleeing gang violence in Chicago."

One of the victims is identified as: Samuel Traut.

There is someone that shares that same name from Sartell, MN who studied at NDSU. I cannot find anything anywhere that states they are one and the same. May just be a coincidence.

This is very unusual, indeed. A check of ND public records shows a few speeding tickets, two of which are out of Fargo/Cass County, but the third is in Williams County (Williston area), likely indicating ties to the oil patch.

http://publicsearch.ndcourts.gov/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=2697164

There are no records out of Minnesota for that name.

I would be happier if the police would simply say, "No comment." Rather than, "we don't see a connection." or "There is no threat to the public at this time." or "There is no evidence of an abduction." and on and on and on with all these robot answers they give.

Until they KNOW there is no connection? They don't know and they should NOT say there isn't.

Traut's Facebook page is at:

https://www.facebook.com/samuel.traut.96

Their is only one post visible to the public, and it's a leftover from October. His friends list, however, is open, and multiple people from Sartell are there. Note that if you're not logged into Facebook, you won't be able to see any of this.
