[FONT=&amp][FONT=&amp]In handwritten scrawl, a man filled a journal last year with details of how he killed a woman.The recounting, presented Thursday in a military courtroom at Offutt Air Force Base, provided a chilling account of the slaying of a victim picked because the killer thought she had few friends. The victim, according to prosecutors, was 20-year-old Airman 1st Class Rhianda Dillard, killed in late July. And the handwriting, they say, matches that of suspect Airman 1st Class Timothy Wilsey, according to prosecutors.

Air Force charges Offutt airman with murder in connection with 2016 death of fellow service member

The Air Force referred charges of premeditated murder and desertion against Airman 1st Class Timothy Wilsey, of the 55th Intelligence Support Squadron, to a general court-martial, according to a press release from the 55th Wing. No date has been set for his trial.

Airman from Valdosta gets life in prison

An airman from Valdosta was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole Wednesday for slaying a woman on an Air Force base in Nebraska.
Airman 1st Class Timothy M. Wilsey was also given a dishonorable discharge, reduced in rank to airman E-1 — the Air Force's lowest possible rank — forfeited all pay and allowances and was given an official reprimand, according to a statement from Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., where the crime took place.

Entries from the journal were also used during Wilsey's sentencing hearing, including an entry stating, “I just enjoy killing. Simple as that.”
