GUILTY NE - Four killed in Omaha crime spree, Nikko Jenkins charged, Aug 2013

  • #161
Colette -- sloppy? So far, it has turned out to be the perfect crime. Apparently no suspects, no arrests, nothing. Just a lame statement nearly a week ago that "we are investigating this as a random act." C'mon, really?

(sarcasm there -- absolutely not directed at Collette or LE or anyone else -- just can't stand not knowing more and wanting an end to this horrible crime so badly).

Edited for a typo.

If you've got a royal flush, are you going to broadcast it? LE is working there 🤬🤬🤬 off, like I said about dundee, this will get solved.

Yikes! That guy sounds pretty freakin dangerous.

If he is the perp, he has been quite busy since his release date a month ago!

Seriously! Sounds like he was just itching to get out so he can go on a shooting rampage. I'm glad police seem to have been on to him right away though, keeping him under surveillance all week. (IF he's the perp, that is).

I'm glad that guy is being questioned and is custody, but the news story sounds to me like the reporters are trying to make the connection to the Kruger murder but LE hasn't made that connection. It's seems to me like it would be out of character or that guy to be all the way out in northwest omaha.

I hope they solve the crime, but I get the feeling this isn't the guy- unless he was hired to do it.

Weird somebody said last night they'd solve this...and he lived at 108th and maple...that's nw omaha...they're close, real close.

4 random slayings all over omaha maybe connected to him...using different areas of town and victims makes him look less likely... "A habitual criminal."

  • #169
Could have sworn last night that I said this was going to be solved, never underestimate the determination of LE.

Sources are saying all 4 victims were shot in the head, using the same gun. It could be the media making stuff up...but I'm hoping not.

I just want to see Justice served for this poor woman and her family!

That guy is scary looking.

I honestly will be really surprised if this is not the right person.

Originally from Omaha too.
I really think she stopped on her way home. Maybe for gas, maybe for a late dinner (fast food to go) maybe snacks from convenient store, maybe something for the sick baby.
I think this creep was looking for an opportunity to steal a car, rob someone, etc. He could have been lurking around where ever she stopped. Maybe he was seen, maybe not. Maybe he slipped into her car while she was inside, maybe he was hiding nearby with a gun when she got back into her car. He could have easily shoved her at gunpoint into the car.
According to news reports, he was living/staying in the area. He maybe needed to get back to the area where the car was found for a drug fix or whatever.
I think once he had her in the car, he was driving. She was probably fighting him. He shot her and shoved her out at the next stop light.
I think this guy is a good suspect. I don't think there is any big mystery here. poor Andrea was unfortunately just a means to an end for this creep. He needed a car and she had one when he needed it.
Absolutely sickening. I hope he fries. (if he's the guilty party)

Doesn't explain the other car that sped off. I do not believe this is the right person involved in this crime.

"Neighbors reported hearing the shots and seeing a car speed off, northbound on 168th Street."

That was HER car.

Yeah. It's sad how far off course we can get when we are given the incorrect information. I think that from the beginning we were led to believe that there were 2 vehicles in this crime. This makes more sense to me than anything else so far. Slimy, evil criminal out to do damage at any cost and an innocent person in the wrong place at the wrong time. My heart just breaks...

Wow that guy sounds like a total monster. Certainly seems to fit his M.O. He could have abudcted her right at the lounge or anywhere she happened to stop. She was just a random victim.

For all the people saying this doesn't fit in for a west omaha murder..1) he lived in northwest omaha 2) look at his past crime history map...just as eradicate from sw to east omaha 9 years ago too.
