I got this email over the weekend. I wonder how we can get the spotlight on this case?
Calling all Websleuths, we need your help!
As a Websleuth , we think YOU know the importance of working towards a resolution in cold cases, and there are nearly 200,000 unsolved cases in the US. We can’t solve them all, but together, we think we can make a difference.
Citizen Detective is a new true crime podcast launching June, 2022. Hosts Mike Morford AKA ‘Morf’ (Criminology Podcast), Naama Kates (Incel Podcast) and Dr. Lee Mellor (Murder was the case podcast, trained cold case analyst) have teamed up to examine and discuss some perplexing mysteries and cold cases, but they need you, the Citizen Detectives at home, to join their team in an effort to crowd-solve the cases they discuss.
The Citizen Detective podcast will be revolutionary and ground-breaking in the way it interacts with the audience, and makes them part of the show. Every episode of Citizen Detective focuses on an unsolved case, and is recorded in a live online session with citizen detectives in attendance. Listeners will hear hosts Mike Morford and Naama Kates present a background on the case, and then Dr. Lee Mellor will provide his analysis and input for each case based on his years of expertise and training. Listeners will also get the chance to hear from experts, investigators, or people connected to the cases we are discussing in some way, such as family members, in an effort to fully understand the case and look at it from every angle. Finally, we will interact with the Citizen Sleuths in attendance, who will share their theories, ideas, and questions. It’s our hope that as a team, we can advance some of the cases we discuss.
If you obsess over unsolved cold cases, go down endless rabbit holes on online forums searching for answers, or spend countless hours digging through all of the materials for your pet case convinced that YOU can solve it, then Citizen Detective podcast might just be for you.

After every episode of Citizen Detective, you can continue the conversation on Websleuths. Websleuths.com will have a dedicated thread for the podcast and for the cases we discuss which you can find here at https://www.websleuths.com/forums/forums/citizen-detective-true-crime-podcast.719 You can keep the conversation going there and keep digging for answers.
