I wonder how they Knew it was the Stepfather and waited to arrest him this 11 am...?

I think it was pretty obvious it was the SF (he says he dropped her off yet nobody saw her there), they just needed the evidence to make the arrest.

The possibility that he killed her before anyone even knew she was missing just makes me ill. And the almost certainty that the step dad had been abusing her for some time just makes me crazy. There had to be signs that this child was being abused. I'm sure it didn't just start the day he killed her.

I hurt for Kerra. I am angry on her behalf. Why was no one in her family paying attention?

So now I wonder when he killed her. Was it that morning when he was suppose to be bringing her to school or days prior? If it was prior, then the mother will have some charges coming.

Oh my goodness. How many siblings did she have? Sisters? Hope these poor kidss get a medical examination. He may have sexually assaulted them too. Heartbreaking

Last night around 9 or 10 (Eastern, so around 7 local time) someone on one of the FB pages posted that there was a lot of highly unusual police activity on rt. 7 near Morrill. I wonder if this was related.

Regardless, kudos to the LE agencies involved for doing their jobs with expertise, professionalism, and respect.

More than any of us can even imagine. When you hear of let's say 20 SO's in a radius of space, I always figure there are 100x more than that whom have never been caught.

I remember seeing that post on fb.

LE did an outstanding job of keeping their investigation quiet and on track in such a small town. I hope they have an overwhelming amount of physical evidence. The step dad needs to pay for what he did to Kerra.
